It was going well. It had been at least two months since she had seen him and two months since they had recorded the initial songs that were to be their first album. At least three of the songs were complete and utter shit though.
"So? How were things going at college?" She asked her old bandmate, eager to start any conversation whatsoever.
"It was OK. Everyone was all 'omg you made an EP and performed at festivals!?' It was really funny." He replied.
"Oh, that's cool..." She was hesitant in that reply, "OK, time to stop kicking around here. I'm here for the same reason you are, we need a comeback."
"We do? I mean, I'm having tons of fun working here." His voice shook this time as she eyed the McDonalds apron that his job required.
"You're really happy?"
"...No." He finally admitted. "This job is shit. University is shit and I miss my fucking guitar!" He shouted out before he lowered his head as various patrons looked over towards him. "Sorry..."
"So what do you say Pete?"
"I don't know Laura, I mean I still need a job..."
She continued to stare at him.
"Fuck it. Fuck this job, fuck my manager Bill. I'm Peter Hampshire and I'm in a fucking band again! Book of Love will ride again!" He screamed as he ripped his apron off and threw it to the air. |

OOC: So after a bunch of thought on the subject, I'll probably be resurrecting my original name to fame: Book of Love. Should expect alot from them after Gears of Bremen release their album and following EP. |
