Buzz & Hype At The Oceana Club, BirminghamSo far tonight, Buzz & Hype have had a pretty good set. The club seems to be on a real high, and everyone is enjoying themselves.
Frantic is coming up to the end when Buzz speaks into a microphone.
“YO YO YO!! We got a proper good treat for you guys! You wanna know what it is?” There is a loud response from the people dancing to the music, “We gonna do a live performance of our new single
FUCKED! You may be wondering how we are gonna do that… well tonight we have two special guests!
Postscript is coming out to rap for us, and – that is right, we said
and –
STEPHANIE FIERCE IS HERE IN THE
OCEANA CLUB, BIRMINGHAM!!!” A massive cheer is heard as both Postscript and Stephanie walk out onto the stage. Stephanie Fierce walks out holding her first up in the air, receiving the crowds genuine love for her. Fierce is seen rocking a metallic outfit that pays tribute to her "Electric Club" days.
The keyboard instrumental from the end of
Frantic fades into the banjo that kicks off the start of
Fucked. The banjo gets gradually more electric as Stephanie and Postscript walk around the stage preparing for the track. Steph then slowly begins to slowly gyrate to the beat of the song and remains frozen before the start.
All of a sudden, out of the ordinary Stephanie steps up to the front of the stage and blasts out the first bit of the track with her raspy dominating vocals. The power of her voice really showcases her well know talent, which is almost sounding better live than the actual recording of the track. She begins to sing as everyone pulls out their cameras and bottles:
“Sweaty Night Sweaty Night Oh
Sweaty Nights Oh oh
Sweaty Nights”
She blows a a middle fingered kiss to the ground, somehow representing the track "Fucked", while seductively stepping back, then eventually she walks over to stand between Buzz & Hype who are on the decks, as Postscript goes to the front of the stage. The drums kick in and he begins to rap the verse; it isn’t quite as good as the recorded version, but it still pulls an awesome reaction from the fans. During so, Stephanie begins to jump, alerting the crowd to do the same, complimenting his part.
“Who let the dogs out?
If it was you, then give a shout!
Man is pretty fucked when the alcohols around,
Things get pretty crazy when the music sounds.
You girls don't have to be pretty,
Just as long as you're willing;
Things get pretty mad when we're alone,
By the end of the night girls on my bone.”
Postscript finishes the verse, and Stephanie blasts out the next part almost instantly – she has obviously listened to it quite a few times to get it perfectly like that, as she did not actually record for this song at all. She walks back to the front of the stage and leans on Postscript’s shoulder as she gets to the ‘Sweaty Nights’ bit and does it in SCREAMO every second line of the lyrics.
“I’ll give you some head shots,
You call out the best shot
Stroke your camera to the left.
Do me rampant like the rest;
Give me hell, give me sweat,
Give me hickey in the neck
In the corner of a city,
Oh no wonder we’re so skinny
I love us getting naughty,
I will call you paparazzi”
As she finishes, the music slows and Postscript slowly raps the next, short verse. This bit is done almost perfectly, unlike the last verse, and the audience are all jumping around in front of the stage. Stephanie smiles as she sees him take ownership of his part, and feels great that everyone is so far enjoying the song.
“Push and pull,
Toss and turn,
Got a mouthful,
Now I burn,
Holding tight,
Kiss your neck,
Feeling right,
No need for a cheque.”
Then Stephanie stands, she says "JUMP WITH ME MOTHERFUCKERS" and starts bouncing as she repeats the chorus, this time full sung. Then the beat drops and the song goes ‘Dubstep’. Steph begins to whip her hair back and forth in a seductive kind of way, following by nodding her head as Buzz & Hype are seen bouncing around at the back of the stage on their pedestal, while Postscript keeps jumping across the stage. Postscript stops and speaks the last few lines.
“Let's get fucked,
Let's get drunk,
Let's have a fuck,
Let's be the ones,
Fucked
Fucked
Fucked
Fucked”
Then the music stops as Stephanie sings one final pre-chorus into the sound of the screaming audience.
“Sweaty Night Sweaty Night Oh
Sweaty Nights Oh oh
Sweaty Nights”
Hype starts scratching at the decks and leads into the music for
Dirty Noises before shouting to the crowd, “THAT WAS
FUCKED!!! THANK YOU POSTSCRIPT AND STEPHANIE FIERCE!!!!!!”
Stephanie Fierce quickly runs over to Buzz & Hype and says the following "These guys are Gods, were all Gods,enjoy the rest of the night and thank you for having me here, you're all amazing!" She quickly runs out waving fans along the way.
