Twenty one year old artist, Chanel Devine from Austin, TX came to Los Angeles with a dream of being a music superstar. Leaving her parents back home in Texas to come meet heavyweight entertainment agent Ben Willer to get signed to his new management empire back when she was 19. Having only a few hundreds dollors in her pocket to survive the harsh world of being an adult and an struggling artist, Chanel didnt give up. Ben signed her to a devolopment deal with Ben Willer Management and Artica Gold Agency. Chanel lived in a small studio apartment in LA, also working in a T-Shirt company where she sold t-shirts. " It was the worst dream ever! I was sweating, out of breath running back and forth. I finally said, forget this man!" She walked out of a 10 dollor a hour job after only six months of working and went intern for some of Ben Willer's former agents and manager he worked for. The internship only lasted two months; when the internship was over, Chanel started writing songs for local artist in California to earn some cash to record music and pay prouducers for the music she was recording. She met James Clark at the age of 20, a talented producer from Atlanta out to LA to find new talent to make music with. James had a in house studio, where Chanel used to record, but soon got a job singing on open mic nights and only getting paid 100 dollors a hour. Still in the devolopment deal with Ben, Chanel stayed focus and had faith she was going to get notice soon. On her birthday September 14th of last year, 21 years of old; Ben signed her to a contract of management. With a strong voice of a soulful voice of Jennifer Hudson, with heavy range and strong chrouds that pushes the soul and RNB, blues into the heart of this Texas native. Ben invested for Chanel to release a promo single titled ' All I Ever Wanted' that went pretty well in views and listens. Weeks later, Chanel was offered a deal with the biggest hip-hop and RNB label in music, Tric- Jam Records for a two album deal. Ben doing a brillant job on managing the 21 year old, Chanel is recording new music and wanted to make a big annoucement that her first single with Tric- Jam will be called " I Got You" that will be released later on this week to build hype on Chanel's music and soon to be album titled ' Born into Music'
