Billie Beckett got a chance to sit down and do a short Q and A. It started with soda.

Coke or Pepsi?
Coke. Pepsi tastes like someone took a massive shit on a can of coke.
Which Reported Failure album would you take to a desert island with you to listen to for the rest of your life and why?
I would bring Post-Grunge Catastrophe because it has everything. There are catchy pop punk songs, epic instrumental progressions, ballads, and it is generally more kickass than our other albums.
What is your favorite song from each of your albums?
From I've Known You, it is the title track, because had that song been written by someone else and before I got into high school it would have been my anthem for all those years. From Flux of the Run it would have to be Hope To Get Out because it is just a very honest song with a great melody. I consider the title track from Disarm to be possibly the best song I've ever written, so that would be my pick. From the new album, it would have to be Manufactured Radio, because it just grows on me more every time I hear it.
What did you eat for breakfast today?
Cereal. Nothing interesting. Were on tour so 5 star restaurants aren't really something were thinking about.
What is the funnest show you've played on this tour?
The last day in San Francisco was crazy. We were playing an acoustic set outside in Golden Gate Park and it started raining cats and dogs. We ended up sort of parading towards shelter with this crowd of at least 50 kids all of us singing along to The Cure to Growing Older while Vin strummed the chords. I'm sure it's somewhere on youtube for you to check out.
Because you're basically invading some smaller sized towns on this tour, have you gotten any real hate from the locals?
To be honest, Nor-Cal is used to us, and down south they're just used to the action. No one has done anything really crazy, but there have been some towns where we wished we could just play our set and then get out of there.
Blondes, brunettes, or redheads?
Brunettes
What is the most embarrassing thing you've ever done at a show?
It was one of the first US tours we did, and we were in Dallas, and I shouted to the crowd "How are we doing, Denver?". I don't think we gained any fans at that show.
What type of guitar do you play?
you'll usually see me with either a Fender Jazzmaster or a Les Paul.
Do you have any plans to release another solo album?
No
Reported Failure has been known for always having plans for the next album, often barely after their last album has come out. Do you have any idea what the next album will be yet?
Yes
Do you care to share?
No. All I'll say is that the concept is a huge step forward, and once we start writing the songs for it, I think the music will also be a big step forward.
What fresh band that has one album out, or maybe is working on one would you like to give a shout out to, and encourage your fans to listen to?
Our labelmates, friends, and an incredible band called Riot! In the Boulevard
