I apologise to those of you who wished me the long-lived, amazing musical career that I would surely have, but I have decided to return to Firecracker 47. Why would I do this after walking out on them, and after Roxy treated me so badly? Let me go through this.

As you know, Roxy was the main reason that I walked out on the band, but I've always had problems with James Kairiri as well. Ever since I met him, we clashed. We never got on in The Nightside Bikithan Cat Collective (I don't think any of TNBCC got on with each other), and gracefully ignored each other in F47. But why would I want to join a second band with James in the first place, playing an instrument that I'd never played, if we hated each other's guts? Because we believed that TNBCC's legacy was important - as is Firecracker 47's. If I've been able to stand James in two bands, I can stand him again now. He's a mature, responsible guy who really forms the backbone of F47, and I have a lot more respect for him than I'll admit. (He's the one who made me write this letter, and convinced me to come back.)

That's James, now what about a Miss Roxana Katraba Firecracker? We've had a rocky relationship, gone from best friends to worst enemies throughout the life of F47 so far. I always treated her as a bit of a joke. Well, for starters, she never really seemed that interesting, just a lumpy, panda-eyed shadow of Joshy and an average guitarist, and if F47 could do without anyone, it was her. I guess you could say I was a bit jealous - she was this young girl, just turned 20, her whole life ahead of her to make mistakes, and I had to get on with things. (Not to mention that even though Roxy's musical talent is average, compared to her I might as well be Suzie.) Also, she got lot more attention than expected, she immediately won the heart of Matt Bellendleg or whatever his name is, and - yeh, my love life hasn't been quite as stable.

So that's the jealousy part, which I'm sure gave Roxy a bit of a smile to read. But why would she hate me? I could say that I don't understand, but there is plenty to dislike. I'm egotistical, I'm snobby, I don't need to say again exactly how jealous and talentless I am. There's probably more to hate than to love - hopefully there's something to love! Basically, I thought I was the cat's pyjamas when I wasn't. I'm around π×10 years old, I've got to stop playfighting like a child and apologise. Sorry, Roxy. It was never you, always me.

Katie van Mouschi Kairiri - do I even need to go through how wonderful Katie is? We've stayed friends throughout, in our own words "all snobs together!" I've made a lifelong friend in Katie, she's such a hardworking lady with an amazing little family in her, James and Cody. She's done so much for Dark Blue Music and I'm looking forward to seeing what she brings to the table next!

And last but by no means least, Joshy. I'm not coming back because of his downfall, though I feel seriously awful for him. If love could be personified, its name would be Joshua Ginger Firecracker, and he deserves none of the hell he goes through. You can say that you don't like him, but never really mean it - he's one of those people (or maybe just that person) whom it's impossible not to love in some capacity. He has his flaws, sure, but he really is an angel of music - and if you don't agree, you don't know J.Firecracker.

So that's the band, and the other one is me. Solo career? I may do some more solo work in future, but I hope you understand that F47 staying together is far more important. I'm sorry for all the trouble I caused, and I apologise also to Studio 60 Records for giving them an empty signing.
