HEARTLESS ANNOUNCE HUNT FOR LABEL IS NEXT STEP TO ALBUM RELEASE
South Wales 5-piece Heartless have announced that they are looking for a record label in order to release their debut studio album at the end of this year.


The band, who formed at the start of 2009 already have one EP under their belts, which was the Sharks EP, released at the end of 2009, the same year as the band formed as Heartless.

The band were set to release their 2nd EP that they planned for release in September that was supposed to be started on this summer in Screamshack studios, Cardiff with Dan Serverge, another name in the Welsh music books, being the former Chimera vocalist.

'We started writing our 2nd EP in April but then earlier this month decided that an album would be better than another 5 track, and we were going to release the EP in September, we can't really say a month for the album at this point, a label will help us out a lot with things that take up time that could be used writing the album, with a label we could get this album out by the end of the year. said vocalist Jimmy Standon,
'We've seen so many bands such as Dead Roses rise from a band that couldn't fill the old Barfly club to a band that sells out arenas, or Chimera, they were at an arena push before Luke Jelt died in 2010, I'm sure that Where The Ocean Meets The Sky would've been a great album, if it was released, and I'm sure that would have taken them to the top, they probably didn't want to do it without Luke though, which is understandable, both those bands show all it takes is that first big chance, but for a band that haven't been signed before, and only have one EP under their belt, it might be hard'
