What is the message behind your music and why should people check out "The Sex Kittens?"We stand for pretty much accepting who you are, believing in yourself, and not letting anyone tell you that your wrong for what you think and that just because your different doesnt mean there is something wrong with you, which is like really positive, and our music is really positive and fun. I guess that would be a good reason for people to check us out.Although you guys just emerged onto the music scene you already have alot of critics going against you because of your explicit lyrics. Like parents telling their kids not to listen to you, and people saying its not real music. Do you have anything to say to them?Ya. I think that its pretty sad actually. Our lyrics are sexual and all that but parents look at it like their kids aren't out having sex, or fooling around with someone. And everyone that hates us is helping us. They are bitching and complaining about us so people are going to hear that and be like "Well since they suck so bad im going to go check them about." In a way its helping us. But its also really sad that people are so against us. We are having fun, the people who listen to us are having fun and enjoying the music we are making so why really give a fuck about hating us? Keep your fucking hate to yourself. Thats what I think.Now you tweeted yesterday that you received death threats from people you've never heard of. Can you elaborate a little bit on that?It was so scary! Some random people sent me messages saying stuff like "You little fag, watch your back because we are going to come kill ya." And they were just attacking me because im gay. Ive had to deal with stuff like that through my whole life just because of how society is today. Which really bumms me our because why shouldnt people have the right to love whoever they want? But I mean they finally stopped and I haven't seen anyone try to kill me, so I guess im ok hahaHuh. Thats pretty messed up. About a week and half ago your band mate Joseph Angel was accused of rape and was arrested. What happened with him and Kamikaze Kate?They fucked, she got pregnant, he says the kid isnt his, and then he got arrested because she's 17. I dont really agree with him saying that the kid isnt his, but I feel bad because knowing Angel for so long, I know that he isnt even close to being parent. But Ive told people im the one who bailed him out of jail because he is like my brother and I couldnt let him sit in there. I know alot of people were mad about it but I dont give a fuck about them so its ok.Your saying that you are against him saying the kid isnt his. But weren't you against Cassie Summers getting pregnant?I thought you were going to bring that up. Yes I was 100% against because if you know Cassie that there is a big chance the kid will get fucked up. No offence to Cassie I love her to death but until a few weeks ago she was a partying bitch and now she is like chill... Its weird. I think its the hormones but I love her to death and decided to give it a shot and start supporting her in having the little thing pop outa her vag.Lets turn back to music now. Are you guys currently working on an EP?No we're actually working on a full length. Right now looking at it, its going to consist of about 12 tracks. I cant say too much because of our "label" Tea Bag Records but at the least we want it to be 12 songs, but apart of us wants to make a super long cd with like 25 tracks. But we'll see!Are there any more singles you are going to release before you release the album?Maybe. If we do its going to be a super awesome bitch song. Are you excited for it?Im really excited because we can finally play some live shows for people to show us what we got, but im also really nervous about how the crowd is going to respond to us. Every band on the tour except for us is either a Metal or Rock band and we are a pop band. So im a little scared of the metal heads coming out. But im sure we will have our fans there too! |
