Magazine: Interview With Teen Titans Teen Titans talk about tour, new single, new album and "Titans Characters". -Hello, guys! Teen Titans: Hi! -So you guys are on your first world tour. Are you enjoying it? Joey: Yeah, we're having fun! Mimi: It's just a little exahusting. Flying and performing lots of times every week it's not easy. Den: Yeah, but it's great to be on the stage in front of your fans and people you know. -You all look quite comfortable performing on the stage lately. What's your secret? Laurence: I don't think there's a secret. It's all about experience really. Den: You know, when you perform lots and lots of times, I think that the stage becomes becomes something like you home! Joey: We also try to enjoy ourselves at the best on the stage. We gotta have fun on it! -What's the most funny thing ever happened on it? Joey: Just being on the stage! [Laughs] Tanya: Yeah. There isn't just one thing. -You're releasing another new single soon, it's called "Recognise Me". I've heard that it's meant to be a way to thank your fans and to celebrate one year of "Teen Titans". Is it true? Den: Yes! We want to thank our fans for all the maxi-support. I think that releasing a song that's a success on the tour is the best way to do it. Mimi: Lots of them asked us to release it and so Will [Will.Rocca, Teen Titans' manager] also gave us the idea of celebrating one year of the band this way. -Are you adding the song on your new album? Laurence: Yeah, of course. Tanya: We have to. -You're already working on it, aren't you? Den: Yes, it's amazing! We're also working with some new producers! It will be slightly different, but always catchy! Joey: It will make you just dance, no matter what! -Could you already tell a release date? Tanya: We still need to work on it a lot. Den: Maybe I think it could be released at some point at the beginning of the next year. -Let's talk about "Recognise Me" again. What can you tell me about the video? Joey: It's gonna be amazing! Mimi: Our "Bestest". [Laughs] Den: Yeah, you'll see our "Titans Characters" in full effect. -With "Titans Characters" do you mean the nicknames given you by the media? Den: Yes, I'm talking about "Orange", "Devil", "Witch", "Einstein" and "Barbie". -I know that some of you had some problems with these characters. Laurence: Well, that's not entirely true. Just Tanya had some problems with her "Nickname". Tanya: Yeah, I didn't like the fact that just because I'm blonde they had to call me "Barbie". But I've learnt to make fun of it like the other do too recently. -What about the others? Why did you get those nicknames? Joey: For me it's because I'm a redhead, but I love being the devil! Den: For me it's because I often wear clothes with bright colors, especially orange, so I got called "Orange". It's also because I can be very, very cheerful though! [Laughs] Laurence: Well, they called me "Einstein" because they said I was the smartest and most intelligent one. And I am. [Laughs] Mimi: Yeah, basically I am a "Witch" for what I look like. They couldn't think of anything better I guess, but I don't mind it. Den: Anyway I think that they're all quite cool! They're a bit like our superheroes nicknames! -What are your future plans for the near future? Laurence: We will keep recording the album and release another single just after the tour. Tanya: We may also shoot a movie. Joey: And Den will hopefully shut up about it! [Laughs] Den: I promise I will! -Ok, thank you for the interview! Good luck for the future! Laurence: Thanks to you. Joey: Yeah, thank you! Mimi: It was nice to do it.
