"I have a special surprise that will be announced very soon" tweeted Stephanie Fierce last week. It is now being revealed that Stephanie Fierce will be starring in her own film, titled "Diary of a Pop Sinner". An adaptation of her second studio album. Stephanie Fierce is also set to be executive producer of the film which will be released in theaters this fall.

Pre-production began in April 2011. Filming began in May 26, 2011 and wrapped July 12, 2011 The film is slated and pinned for an October 7, 2011 release. The musical will contain elements of Art-Pop, Opera and Jazz Music, based on Stephanie Fierce’s sophomore album “Diary of a Pop Sinner”. The album's visual concept will also be portrayed in the film. Aside from “Diary of a Pop Sinner” serving as the film’s soundtrack, a new song was recorded for the film. The song is titled "I Am Everything" and will be released July 31, 2011.


"The Newborn tour just kicked off again and before that I was filming the musical. It took a few weeks of rigerous shooting. I've been working on this project for quite a while now and it's exciting to see it all finally come together. The film is a musical but it doesn't have a musical theater feel.
