We are officially back! Not going to get into why we've been gone for so long but it just feels good to be back. In the middle of writing our 7th studio album with an original member back into the group, John Smith. His brother Marcy was going to come aboard but later backed out due to wanting to do something different. we have signed with our buddies in quarantine's new label the cerebral collection. regan and john have a lot of history from casting thin shadows but both agreed to settle their differences that it was time to move on to something else which all of us from our original bands have done. we are also going to go on their world tour with them to warm us up while we write this new album. so far it is being called "Where Do We Go From Here?" it will be a return to the first two albums sound. More double tapping guitars, and more mathcore base shit. More news to come your way soon!

About Us:
The Waiting Room started out as a side-project between ex-Fear and ex-Casting Thin Shadows members. It was originally Paul, Logan and Frank from Fear and John and Marcy Smith from CTS. John & Marcy left to reuniting with CTS and focusing on producing albums. After the two from CTS left the trio decided to keep recording after Fear broke up for good. They recruited Donnavon Rich and Will Hux from local NYC bands that use to open up for Fear. They turned the band from a side-project to a full band and have released six successful studio albums. After Red Sky Season was released the band decided to take hiatus from exhaustion of putting album after album out and touring for a long time since they formed. Now the band are coming back and Will Hux was found dead last year in his hotel room O.D.ed on heroin and John Smith has rejoined the band after producing the bands albums "Red Sky Season" and "Define Gravity". Marcy Smith is tied up in a different career which he is happy with so we wish him the best. But the band are in the middle of writing a new studio album that should be out soon!

self-titled e.p. still coming. working hard on our new album so far gonna be called 'LifeStyles'. we have been switching the name of it a lot lately. as it was gonna be titled 'Where Do We Go From Here?' or 'Revelations'. so far 'LifeStyles' is sticking and might end up being the title unless something changes. our most ambitious album to date. sounds like we're young again with so much energy. now we didn't go back and try to bring back our old sound this is a new rejuvenated Waiting Room. my favorite track so far would have to be the 6 minutes and a half track 'Typical American' which is a very political song about Americans today. the album takes on lyrically different lifestyles and how different we all are actually. bunker18 is an amazing producer and i knew since the first day Vincent was in Quarantine that Regan had found a very talented guy to take over for us once we got older and this is his start. after Quarantine breaks up you'll probably see a lot more bunker18 on our releases for sure.
