Crystal Robinson was born in Baton Rougue, Lousiania with four others brothers. Her mother, Ashley and father, John raised the family thought hardship. But raised the family in the country where Crystal got in touch deeply with having music escape the harsh reality of the world. Crystal was often a outsider, her looks didnt get her so much attention. Crystal was a quiet girl with big dreams, raised to show to people respect. Crystal dad's had a emotional breakdown when the family went completly broke from from one of John's business investments. The family was raised in a three bedroom home, where Ashley's grandmother paid the bills. After Ashley's grandmother passed away of cancer, the family's income went down and had to move to a one bedroom apartment in Lousiania. The strugglies of the family, trying to eat and putting food on the table. Crystal's older brother, Mike will have to watch the younger ones while Tonya and John worked late nights, also on the line of getting a divorce, after getting married before having Mike. Crystal's auntie, Marylin was a jazz and blues singer down in New Orleans. She played the piano and the guiter, an struggling jazz artist. Marylin will take Crystal away from the boys on weekends and take Crystal to the open mics sessions where Marylin will perform her music.

Crystal, at age six will sit in the back room to listen to the singers and Marylin saw the early passion of music she had. Crystal will give shows in the back, dancing around the club, acting as if she was singing. Grabbing hands, pulling them on stage. You show happiness when Crystal heard music, expect sadness when she will have to hear fights from her parents and being the only girl from a family of boys. One night, Marylin pulled Crystal on stage to sing a old classic jazz song that Crystal knew because Ashley will always play it. Crystal ran up the stairs, her little white dress flying in the air and started to sing just like the strong voiced blues singers, sounding so hip and powerful just at the age of nine. How she will move her body so smooth- feeling the music.

Crystal will always walk around the stage, shaking her shoulders like Tina Turner does when she performs. That was once, and after that moment Crystal discovered the hidden talent, Crystal always wanted to be around music. Traveling with Marylin, Marylin started to raise Crystal after the age of ten in Lake Charles, Lousiania where Marylin taught Crystal how to sing and play the piano. Crystal grew with music as music grew with her. Crystal started to perform around Lousiania with jazz, RNB and pop songs, being a little girl, dancing and shaking, moving around that stage, singing her heart out, loving the energy the audience gave her- she was a true performer...

At the age of 12, Crystal decided to become a performer. At age 16, she was choosen to be a dancer in a broadway musicial where she met the rest of the girls and saw the talent in them and wanted to start the group The Automantics.

The girl with deep words and meaning, the poet turned singer from California turned her love for speaking into deep meaning and feel into songwriting in a Los Angeles, California after meeting Crystal on a broadway musicial run when she was a replacement dancer. Diamond Durio was born in Los Angeles, California where she was raised by a single mother and never meant her father. Diamond was a energetic girl that loved to entertain. She was a outspoken little girl with thoughts and opinions about solutions, often asked why she never meant her dad. The beauty grew up in a very high city where compeption from talented children was presented. Diamond didnt want to do that until she saw a Janet Jackson concert and got influenced by the excitement of performing. Diamond loved to draw and paint, drawing visions of scenes and stages. She was a creative mind, she will love to write stories, stories at the age of six she will make up, reading them to her parents. She had a passion for writing. In school, Diamond was the popular girl because of her stunning looks at such a young age, but wanted to be wanted for her, not her looks. But her outspoken ways did lost friends, but gained a lot from her honestly. Diamond and her mother was never close, her mother always use to blame Diamond for her dad leaving after finding out her mother was pregent. That where songwriting came from- Diamond respected her mother and just use to break down and cry after having major fights with her mother. She will turn to songwriting to express how she felt after each fight and her thoughts period. Never thought how meaningful and deep she can be, Diamond started to go to poet nights in LA at age 13 to talk speaking her word.

Diamond's music teacher, Jackie saw the talent in Diamond and saw a artist when she read the music and saw the stories that Diamond created, the mood she will set when she read and performed these words. The deep emotion she will give. Jackie said, " I knew a talent when I saw it.. I asked her, why not do more what the words.. and she say, " I cant sing!"

Diamond rejected the thoughts of singing after her mother told her she will never do it, also devoloping strong drinking habits and bringing guys home late after the clubs and Diamond started to write more poems and songs, but performed the poems every night in LA, getting paid a little at age of 15. Jackie wanted to help Diamond in her future music and talked her into doing, Diamond always wanted to take her stories in her songwriting futher, so Jackie devoloped the sweet and soft RNB influenced and rock voice with strong range in private classes Jackie taught. She always got Diamond influenced by theatre and dance, after knowing how great she can express her music and words, stories thought theatre.

At age 16, she wanted to audition for the musicial where she met the other girls, but didnt make it, she was placed as a replacement dancer later in the run when a dancer broke an ankle. Crystal saw the passion for performing in Crystal, even thought, Crystal can be weird and akward because she is always writing and singing, she doesnt talk much; she is always thinking of something new to write. She doesnt like spotlight- she loves the fact to sharing her passion for writing and performing in front of people. She actually came up with the name the Automatics- the passion of dance and singing, the automatic and natural talent for performing.
