It starts with the sound of the piano and then with Zoe singing slowly her lines, followed by Jade who sings the "I love you" phrase softly. Then they all sing with the slow tune the bridge and get emotional in the chrous.
So Charlotte sings the new lines, keeping the slow tune, hitting an higher note on the third line. Jade eventually sings the last two phrases, still softly.
Then - after another chorus - Zoe sings with an higher tune the new verse, with the girls doing some sort of echo and after a short instrumental, Jasmine sings alone the bridge slowly, leading the song into its most emotional part with the next two choruses.
The song ends with Jade singing very softly the last line, as the music in the background fades. Songwriters' Comments: Jennifer: I love this song!! It's so emotive and touching! I remember I was going to cry when we recorded it. We had to choose this as the new single, because it had to be a single! One of our best ballads! When we wrote it, we were thinking about all the love peeps out there!! Zoe: It's the best we have ever done! With the other singles I was always a bit like "Why do we have to release this shit?" But with this it's another story. It's true music for me and everyone gotta love it, even if I wrote a little of the lyrics. Jasmine: It's a great song. It gets to your heart easily and especially with its lyrics. I had the idea of its concept, which is quite simple though: It talks about a person who tries to keep their pride but can't stop loving this other one. Jade: "In My Heart" is one of my favourite, I always found it very romantic and sometimes I can't believe I joined writing some bits of it. Charlotte: We're so glad to release this one! When we first recorded it and then listened to it, we couldn't believe to what we had done and we also have the idea for the video, which will have elements of the ice that is gonna represent the pride, which will melt because of the love, represented by the fire!
