TISHA & DANIEL BREAK THE ICE PART I


It is a beautiful sunny day in Hollywood, California. Record label exec Daniel is sitting down inside of the famous restaurant Mr. Chows. He appears to be waiting for someone patiently. The waiter comes up to Daniel and he smiles. The waiter, (his name tag say Ralph), ask “Are you ready to order sir?”. Daniel replies “No thank you Ralph just another glass of water and another rack of bread sticks please”. Ralph the waiter says “No problem sir, coming right up”. Daniel nods his head and peaks outside of the restaurant now looking a bit anxious. He begins to look down at his phone and sends some emails out to his assistant on things he needs to be faxed. Bored with that now Daniel begins to look around the restaurant at the other customers eating and talking. He then sighs and that’s when Ralph the waiter walks up and says, “Here are your breadsticks fresh out of the oven and here is your water sir. Let me know when you are ready to order something sir.” Daniel looks up at Ralph and says, “I will, I am awaiting someone to join me for lunch.” Ralph shakes his head yes and smiles and walks away to help another customer. Daniel looks down at the table and when he puts his head back up there walks in Tisha Jackson.


Tisha hair is let down flowing across her shoulders towards the mid-section of her back. She has a very thin material summer dress on and it is white and navy blue striped. Tisha has some costume bracelets on her left arm and a pair of leopard sun glasses on. She stops at the front desk and tells the clerk, “Daniel party of two”. The front desk clerk says, “Yes, right away miss.” And a woman leads Tisha to where Daniel is sitting at. Daniel smiles and looks a bit relieved that Tisha finally came. Daniel looks up at Tisha with a pleasant grin and says “What’s up Tisha”? Tisha places her purse down and says, “Hello Daniel”. Daniel says, “ I ordered bread sticks if you want some”. Tisha smiles and says, “No but I’m a bit parched”. And ask where the waiter is. Daniel tells Tisha that he “should be coming soon”. Daniel gazes at Tisha and Tisha takes off her sun glasses and gazes at him. Daniel looks down and says, “Now I’m glad we are having lunch but I don’t know a way to start this conversation without it being awkward”. Tisha looks down and says, “ I don’t either”.


Daniel pouts his face like a kid and sighs, “But I don’t want you to feel like we meant harm by you in any way.” Tisha puts her hands up in the air and says, “Well I want to break the ice.” Daniel nods “Good”. [/b]“You know Daniel, I respect Junction because I signed there. I signed there for a reason, it felt like it would be a good home for me. But you do have to realize when I signed there it was under a whole different management and then you came along and it was a whole new agenda. And you have to realize that was a lot of confusion on my behalf because I came in the right before the midst of all of that. And I feel that we NEVER sat down and talked about working together or got a feel for each other. It was just like putting two strangers together and expecting them to have a developing personal and business relationship, it’s just virtually impossible. So, that’s where I think things went south. Daniel leans up from his chair and says, “I totally get where you are coming from because I feel the same way. But you do have to understand as it was a lot on you to get your business in order it was for me. I have been trying my hardest to get to know my entire artist roster but it is a lot to bear with. But I have signed on to take that and I plan on us all getting along well. Especially on a personal level because you seem like a lovely young woman and you are very assertive.


Tisha smiles and then curls her lips. She is about to open her mouth to reply to Daniel when Ralph the waiter comes and ask are they ready to order, Tisha smiles at Ralph and says “Yes, I would like your Clam Chowder soup and Chips with a glass of Red Wine. That would be nice”.Ralph says grins and says, That’s an exceptional choice, our Clam Chowder is not only one of the best soups, but also a favorite dish on the menu as well. And you said red wine correct? Tisha grins and perches her lips and says, “Yes sir” as she nods. Ralph smiles at Daniel and ask him what would he like to order. Daniel smiles and points to the Roasted honey chicken breast with a baked potato. I would like to have that sir. Ralph ask him would he like anything to drink with his “hearty meal”. Daniel replies “A beer would be great”. Ralph ask which kind. And Daniel replies “Strictly Heineken”. Ralph runs away with the orders.


Tisha looks at Daniel and says, “Okay, back to when you were just kissing my ass”. Tisha smiles with a wide grin. Daniel places half of his body outside of the booth and begins to laugh as Tisha covers a portion of her mouth and begins to laugh. Daniel grabs Tisha’s hand and laughs more and Tisha lets out a huge sigh. Daniel sighs right after and says, “That was funny”. Tisha tilts her head and says yeah continue kissing it, common’, you know you want to. No, I just kid with you”. Daniel places his whole body back into the booth. “But seriously though, it was never coming from an hurtful place, you were just accusing me of something I didn’t do. Tisha, [/b]“Daniel, it may seemed like I accused you but it wasn’t like that. You may be the head of Junction Records. But you employ close to 50,000 people including myself and you don’t think at least one of these people had anything to do with me losing so much cash?”, Tisha says. Daniel sighs and tilts his head, “Now I never said that, it is mysterious how things just up and disappeared. And I do suggest that you do get your money back. But shall I suggest instead of a law suit why don’t you just investigate. I will sign documents needed to allow you to investigate within the label so we could find the crooks who took your money.

Tisha, “That sounds like a plan for now. But Daniel I do have to warn you, while this investigation seems pretty smooth and like the right way to go. If it doesn’t pan out the way intended I will have to continue with the lawsuit unfortunately. I mean I have the right to if the problem isn’t solved because money was stolen from many other workers and their families so think about them.


Daniel nods and agrees, “Hopefully we can solve this, but if this investigation doesn’t work then I am okay with that. I just want you to know that I want to catch these crooks too!Tisha places her chin on her fist and says, “Me too.” And looks down at the table. Ralph comes with the entrees and Tisha and Daniel laugh over food and drinks. They talk about an hour eating their plates and discuss lighter subjects. After they finish their meals Tisha suggest going to the prescient to file investigation reports now while their together.


ABOUT 1 HR AND 30 MINS LATER


Tisha and Daniel arrive and a prescient and file reports for an investigation. The police insure them that they will get to the case as early as the end of the day and will be conducting interviews with all parties involved. He tries to comfort Tisha about getting her money back and lets her know he can assure her that they will find the crooks who swindled her/workers cash. But he also told her that the correct thing to do FOR NOW is to investigate the situation. Tisha and Daniel leave the station and embrace before they part. Daniel,”So I’ll see you this week, I’m telling you we did the right thing Tisha”.Tisha, “I think we did too. [b]"I’ll just be glad when we get to the bottom of things because this is an stressful situation". They embrace once again and head their separate ways.

ooc: As I've said previously, I am trying new things with my character you will see how this all falls into place in a few days. Also I never really done an rp like this before so It would be really nice to get some feedback on what I can work on or anything.
