Scott laughed with Jared and pretended to be poking fun at Arianna. "Yeah mate, I know what you mean. Sometimes trying to read the wife is a real challenge as well. I'm sure being in a band with a girl is quite crazy." His stomach flutters a little as Arianna speaks, and he smiles over at her, a warm feeling passing over him as their eyes meet yet again.

Scott felt a little guilty as Arianna looked quickly again, and turned his attention back to Jared, feeling a little uneasy after catching the Hey Lolita man's quizzical look. He hoped Jared wouldn't say anything, and hastily rearranged his desk once again, as if he felt he had to do something to keep from looking too much like there was something going on.

After a while he nodded, trying to turn his attention to the music. He scratched his ear and brushed his lip with the lid of his pen as he relaxed back into his seat. "Yeah. I have real faith in you guys. There are a lot of big albums this year, but musically, I reckon you are a match for anyone. You know how I feel about you both." He allowed his eyes, as his sentence tailed off, to drift to Arianna again, trying to make her laugh.

Scott nodded, writing "sort a tour" on his notepad. "I'll see if I can find you a band to tour with. I have sway with venues these days, so that won't be any trouble." He smiled. Then, as Jared made an excuse to leave, Scott gave him the first genuine smile since they had been there. He nodded and leaned forward on the desk.

"Sure man. I don't wanna keep you guys from your music. Get recording a classic for me..." He leaned back in his seat, biting his lip as he turned quickly to Arianna before swinging around in his chair.

Scott cleared his throat and looked at the two singers again.

"Haha yeah, I can see you two are close, it's pretty obvious. I'm not sensing the couple vibe though. I think it would be like two first cousins making out...kinda wrong, and no one wins really." He laughs and slaps his hand down on his desk, still feeling nervous.

"Of course I do," he laughed. "I wouldn't have signed you guys if I didn't have faith. Well...actually, didn't Nadia sign you? I still have faith though. Loads of it, trust me. You guys are my favourites." He flashed Arianna a look and grinned widely.

Scott stood up in the end and shook Jared's hand. "No problem man, I'll be in touch soon enough. I think we should take a real hands on approach with you guys. you deserve to be a success."

He sat back down, feeling awkward as Arianna and Jared spoke. He didn't want to make anything too obvious, so he just opened his laptop and browsed the internet as they discussed things, urging himself not to look completely guilty. He liked that he could hear a desire in Arianna's voice to not leave with Jared though, and had to fight to keep the wry smile from creeping onto his face.

As he heard the door close, he smiled and looked up, beating easily again. "Wow.." he said, looking over at Arianna. "How awkward was that?"


He stood up and flashed Arianna a look, taking in her full form at last and grinning. He took a swig from a bottle of water on his desk and walked over, sitting on the sofa against the wall. He could scarcely keep his eyes off her.

"I'm glad I can finally say this without fear; you look fucking beautiful Arianna." He smiled and looked over at her, smoothing his hair down.

As Arianna stood up, Scott smiled, looking at her long legs, trying to not make it too obvious that he was staring. He eventually looked back up into her eyes. "Seriously? What makes you think that?" He laughed a little. "Besides, what does it matter if he thinks something's up? Surely he isn't going to go shouting it to the world?" He smiled at her. "Just don't worry."

Scott laughed as she did, her laugh always made him smile with its incredible cheeky quality. "Well of course I am...why else would you still be here after your bandmate left? He smiled and stroked his stubble a little, his eyes moving down to her lips as she sat opposite him on the sofa. As she put her hand on his leg, he felt a flutter in his stomach. Nerves? Why? He placed his hand on top of hers and intertwined their fingers.

"I know...me too. If only we had had the chance for that private meeting, you know?"

Scott watched her intently as she started to panic. He tried his hardest not to laugh, but he found it cute how worried she looked. After a second or two he smiled gently. He looked into her eyes and then down at her red lips. He lifted his free hand and pushed her hair behind her ear, allowing his hand to brush softly against the soft skin of her cheek. Leaning in, he pressed his lips to hers, closing his eyes and sighing softly as he melted into the kiss.

Sitting back a few seconds later he looked at her. "What are you worried about?"

Scott shrugs and nods as he laughs. "Yeah..I saw that. If I'm being honest, I was a little worried he was going to drag me across the desk and thump me. I can see that he is quite protective of you. It's nice that you have that." He smiles and sighs. "But don't worry. Even if he does suspect it, do you think he'd have left us alone if he really believed we were going to do anything? Plus...no one needs to know."

Scott smiled and laughed again. As much as this excited him, he still felt really nervous about anyone ever finding out. But he'd be damned if he was going to let that show. He wiped his brow and smoothed his tshirt down again. "Why would you be over? People have scandals all the time, it doesn't mean that your career will be affected." He sighed. Of course, he knew that what he was saying to her was true, but he still worried about himself. "Yeah, it makes me feel bad..of course it does. But I can't help how you make me feel can I? It's alright Arianna. Why would it be bad if it makes us happy?" He smiled at her and gave her hand a gentle squeeze.

Scott felt a little shocked and hurt as Arianna backed away from his kissed. He opened his eyes and looked into hers. "Yeah...but he's not here. He thinks we're talking business remember." He sighed again. "Honestly, it'll be fine."

Scott moves a little closer and puts his hand on her hip. "I swear it won't get out Ari...who's going to tell? I know I wouldn't...and there isn't anyone else around. Why do you worry so much?" He tried to make her feel better with a smile.

Scott smiled over at Arianna. He really wanted her to feel better, but he knew that the guilt must be getting to her. Much the same as it got to him. "We shouldn't worry about other people," he said softly. "It makes me happy, and I know it makes you happy to Arianna. Why should we have to hide away from that?" He gazed into her eyes as he gently ran his hand over the top of her fingers. "Besides, if Jared hit me, I'd fold like a pack of cards. He's only need to do it once." He chuckled softly.

He listened to her as she worried again, nodding along. "I know. I know what you mean. And I know that is a big worry. But I promise you, it will never reach that level of scandal. I have money in this company to pay for the best PR in the world...but it won't ever come to that. Honestly. No one will know ever." He smiled again, as he ran his free hand through his stubble and across his face. He was trying to put on a brave face, and hoped his nerves weren't showing.

As Arianna leaned back in again, Scott closed his eyes again, placing a hand on the back of her head softly as they kissed for longer this time. He half smiled at her, gently squeezing her hand again. "I know. I know. It's what makes you so great."

As she hugged him, he felt slightly empty. He had hoped she wouldn't go so soon, and he was doing a poor job of hiding his true emotions. As they hugged, he spoke quietly. "Sure. Same time and place next week. Come alone this time, and I swear we can make it alright."

As Arianna stood to leave, Scott got up too. Wrapping his arms around her waist from behind, he leaned in and kissed her neck gently. "And don't worry, so much. I won't let anything happen. Promise," he whispered softly into her ear. He knew this was wrong, and he knew what damage it could do to his own life, but he needed Arianna badly.

Cassie is sitting in the arrivals lounge with Jody in her arms. She is wearing a vest top and cut off jeans with a bandana on her head. Her phone rings and she looks at it, smiling.

"Gia's here LJ. Lets go."

She puts the baby in her stroller and walks out of the airport, looking for Gia's car.

Gia sees Cassie and she gets out. "Cass! Over here!"

Gia smiles.

"Hey, thanks for coming. Aww look at Jody. She looks so sweet."

She looks back at Cassie and decides to go in for a hug.

"I'm great you? Awww, cool. Ready to go?"

She smiles, pushing her hair back.

Gia laughs. "Yeah, she surely is. It's crazy how fast she's growing."

She got back in and started the truck.
