Around half an hour passes before Scott speaks again, as he considers how to say what he needs to say, and Andrea feels shocked at what she's hearing.

"Alex stabbed Gia, Andrea. We tried to get Sophie back and he stabbed Gia. He stood there laughing as my wife lay on the floor bleeding. He said that my baby would die."

Scott rubs his face again and sighs.

"I saw red. I ran up to him and I tackled him and I punched him and kicked him for as long as I could. Then I grabbed his knife. You gotta know this guy tormented me for years..." He sighs. "I had to...he was going to kill my family. I stabbed him...and he died."

Andrea looked at Scott then looked down a little

"I...I'm sorry that happened to you and Gia Scott I didn't know or think he'd do anything like that"

She looks down and sighs then looks at Scott again

"This...this just isn't adding up though you said it wasn't his fault that he left me but he left me before Sophie and Avery were even born which is why I gave them up in the first place he ran away from me and the kids why would he try to kidnap Sophie?"
