"oh!" teresa exclaims,straightening her glasses,she gets up to shake his hand. "trent? wait,of course it's you. why else would you know my name." she shakes her head and laughs nervously. "yup! i wasnt even hassled at the border.i guess i have an honest face." teresa is hiding her nervousness poorly.

teresa smiles back at trent. "nah,i like to make good time. i drove straight through. what,pray tell is poutine? " teresa makes a face,as it sounds like something pretty dirty to her. she absentmindedly plays with a napkin.

teresa looks slightly scared. this is the furthest she has been from home,and the gruff waitress isnt making it easier." wow.she is a ray of sunshine,huh?" teresa studies the menu and then nods. "i think i want some poutine.it has everything i like..all on one plate!"

teresa giggles."oh how perfect. here i thought she just hated you." she sips her cherry coke,with a look of satisfaction on her face. "this is...this is excellent." she says gesturing to her soda. "ew..maxipads. see,thats why i use tampons.no hobos digging though the trash and using them for coffee filters." teresa blushes.that was so foul to say outloud.

teresa adds in her own "thanks,doris!",said very brightly. "who else do you have slated for shadowmachine's touring band? i kinda have already made enemies..." she says with a shrug.

"we're off to a good start!" teresa says hopefully. "i really cant wait to see this all come together. " at the mention of ada,teresa sips her soda to avoid having to look at trent. "yeah..there was that. i pretty much pissed off everyone she associates with." she shrugs. "oh well,last i checked derrick goddard isnt known to her." she says trying to put a positive spin on things.

teresa smiles at trent. "thank you trent. though,i think she might be right.i was evil to her.." teresa frowns briefly,then focuses on the plates on the table. "oh my! where has this been all my life?! i could just kiss doris for bringing us this." teresa takes out her phone and takes a picture of the piping hot poutine. "please tell me this tour of yours last forever and we'll be eating this every day." she laughs and takes a bite.

teresa munches on her food,clearly marveling at it."is it always this good? as far as i know.the states do not have this." teresa thinks for quite awhile before answering trent. she sits straight up before speaking. "well,i thought you might have trouble finding a keyboard player. guitarists and bassists are a plenty.but keys? that can be difficult. i loved your single so much,that i wanted to help bring it to a live setting." she nods,satisfied with her answer. "what made you go with me?" she asks back.

"really?! thats so sad....for both of us." teresa giggles and looks over trent's shoulder at the kitchen. "i wonder if doris plays? i'd like to say you chose me over someone else."

at this teresa instantly turns into a preteen girl and hides her face. "you cant be serious?! you actually liked "dont"? after that magazine reviewed it and basically said it was weird. i assumed everyone hated it. " teresa reaches into her pocket and pulls out her wallet. yeah,she doesnt do the purse thing. "trent,this is on me. " she says happily.
