Katie smiles at him and nods.

"You really are an old romantic Merjos. I bet no one would ever guess this side of you exists." She grins. "It is a perfect way to spend it though. You are a perfect boyfriend," she smiles. "Even if you do sometimes forget to put the toilet seat down." She sticks her tongue out.

Katie smiles. "I think if you were ever a douche to me, Lucas might hit you." She giggles. "I'm joking, he's be more likely to hit me if I was a douche to you." She takes a bite of ravioli and nods. "It's really awesome. You're a good cook, babe, as well as being my favourite boyfriend." She winks at him and puts her hand on the table as she watches him eat. Nothing was more satisfying and relaxing for Katie than getting to spend time alone like this with Hayden.

She watched as Hayden was obviously thinking about something, and she just smiled as he did. It was strange to think that at this time last year she had no clue that Hayden had feelings for her, and now she lived with him, and he had almost accepted Lucas as his own. She sighed happily as she ate more of his delicious ravioli. She took a little drink from her glass as she remembered the first time she and Hayden kissed.

"Hey, Hay, do you remember the night we got together?" She smiles at the memory.

Katie smiles and pushes some hair from her face.

"It was the most surprising night of my whole life. But that night you changed my whole life forever. Just like that." She snaps her fingers and smiles.

Katie leans forward towards him a little. "What made you tell me anyway?" She smiles at him as she takes another drink of wine and pours them both another glass. "And believe me, as soon as you told me, I knew I felt the same. It was like a realisation in my head that you were the perfect person for me." She plays with her hair as she keeps her eyes fixed on him.

Katie smiles as she keeps playing the night over and over in her head.

"It was the perfect time. I will never forget that moment for as long as I live." She takes a small sip of wine. "Who knew then I'd be kissing the guy I'd wanna spend my whole life with though."

She smiles.

Katie smiles at him and pretends to look surprised. "See now you're getting my hopes up about us having kids in the future." She giggles and then goes a little quiet. "Oh wow....Hay you didn't have to buy me anything..." She takes the box in her hand. "What is it?"

Katie smiles as she imagines a future with Hayden where they have their family around them. She smiles warmly. "I hope so. That would be amazing." She opens the box and looks into it.

Katie looks down at the beautiful earrings in her favourite colour. She smiles up at Hayden. "They're absolutely beautiful babe. You didn't have to go spending a lot of money on me though. These must have cost you loads."

Katie moves her seat around to be closer to Hayden and holds his hand. She smiles at him and gives him a long soft kiss. "You're so sweet to me, honey. Thank you so much, I love them. They're beautiful." She smiles. "You...wanna see your present?"
