"You're welcome, Carmen," he says. "It's a nice day out...do you want to maybe go for a walk?" he asks.

Cappy stands up on his hind legs, smelling Carmen to make see if she has any bacon on her. "Down, Cappy," Neil says, "I'll get you some food later. Here, let's go," he says, taking Carmen's hand and walking off down the sidewalk in no particular direction. "I'm sorry they won't let you stay in my hotel room. You just have too many animals to hide," he says, looking back at the car full of cats and dogs.

"I kinda guessed," he says. He looks down at Cappy. "I guess Cappy is kind of like my baby. Well, he's technically Sam and Nichole's, but I'm the one who looks after him all the time. Maybe when they have kids they'll give Cappy to me," he says, and Cappy wags his tail. Neil was more likely to sneak him food than Sam or Nichole.

Vara runs into the hospital and up to the hotel desk. "D'amoure," she says urgently.

"First name?" The nurse asks, seeming to not give one shit.

"What the hell? How many fucking D'Amoures are eve-- You know what? Never mind. I'll find him myself..." She says as she quickly runs down the hallway. The sounds of crying fan girls and clicking photographers make it relatively easy for her. "Out of the way!" She screams as she pushes them all out of the way of the door and into Trent's hospital room. Any and all anger she made have had in her immediately disappears.

"Baby...?" She asks softly as she takes a step towards him, looking like she's about to cry.

Vara starts to sob as she runs over to Trent and wraps her arms around Trent. "Mi amoure, I was so worried about you..." She sobs out into his chest. "You promised me! You promised me no more!"

Vara begins violently sobbing into Trent's chest. "I will never leave you, mi amoure... Never..." She chokes out as she holds on to him. "Never... I was so scared... I thought I lost you..."

"Don't! Don't say that! Don't ever say that!" Vara says loudly, almost in a scream to get through her tears. "I need you. Don't die. You can't die. I need you just as much as you need me, and... And..." She can't think of any more as she breaks down a little bit more, burying her face into the palms of her hand, her nails digging into her skin.

Vara takes Trent's hand and brings it up to her mouth, kissing each finger once with her tear stained lips. "I love you more than anything, Trent... I love you more than I thought I could ever love anything, and I stay with you because you... You made me see me..." She says quietly, realizing that that didn't make a lot of sense. "When I was a girl, I was known only as my father's daughter... When I was a teenager, I was known for my... Reputation..." She sighs. "And before I met you, I was known for my body... I thought that was all I was, mi amoure... Just an easy girl with a semi-famous father..." She kisses his hand again. "And you treated me like I was more than that... You treated me like I was a person... Not a thing, and certainly not an accessory to my family's name... I love you so much, Trent..."

Vara sniffles, her voice breaking. "I love you so much... Please no more... Mean it this time, no more!"

"I will, I will..." Vara says quietly, kissing Trent's neck softly. "I will. I'm here. I will always be here..."
