She rested her body against the kitchen counter, smiling as she heard Arianna speak of her music passion that she shared with Nate. "I can imagine you two just have the best conversations about music. I'm happy my brother found a fellow musician to date, otherwise he'd be driving some poor woman insane." Angie jokingly stated with a chuckle, nodding her head as she spoke. "Thanks, Ari. Yeah, it would be so nice to gather everyone. It's been a while since we all spent Christmas together. Hopefully Nate doesn't mind seeing mom," she said as her head lowered for a moment, looking to her watch, quickly wanting to change subjects before she could ask anything. "Hmm, I really should be going now. I have to be at this meeting in a half hour."

Angie began to walk out of the kitchen, back to the living room as she turned her attention back to Arianna. "If anything comes up, just give me a call. I shouldn't be too long I hope. I left a backpack with snacks and toys if he gets hungry or bored. Again, thank you so much for doing this." She tells her with a warm smile, leaning in to give her a quick hug.

Nate waved at Angie, her son soon following suit and waving to her as she left as well. He remained seated next to Johnny, trying to occupy his attention with some silliness out of his own design. While keeping an eye on his nephew, he looked at Arianna with a smile as she took a seat on the sofa near them both.

He chuckled a little under his breath as he saw her reapplying her red lipstick. "Baby, you look perfect. Try to relax. He's not gonna bite." Nate tapped Johnny's shoulder to get his attention as he looked up at him. "Right you won't bite aunt Ari?" He asked him, which Johnny shook his head, saying a light no, before looking at Arianna again. "Now why don't you give her a hug? You still haven't said hi to her today, you know."

Nate knew perfectly well the type of woman Arianna was. Never once did she express interest for children, in the year in a half that they've been dating the subject has never come up, which he was okay with. They were both committed to their current work and already living together was a big step in itself.

He smiled as she pulled Johnny up to her lap, taking in the sight of really the first time his girlfriend has ever interacted directly with his nephew. "Now, I think he's a little too young for aunt Lolita's music or even uncle Nate's. I was playing him some Ryan Ross Hernandez, that's pretty much as clean as the recent music I've been listening to gets." He told her with a chuckle, resting a side of his forehead against his knuckles, happily looking at them. Nate enjoyed the fact that despite she was out of her element, she made an effort, even if it was just for his sake. "You know, Ari is a singer too, just like your uncle. Don't worry, she's just a little shy like you. You both have that in common."

Nate smiled as she got a giggle out of Johnny while he sat on her lap. He had prior babysat a couple of times and he's hung around him a lot more than Arianna has had experience around him or any child. He figured this would be as good time as ever to try to get her to bond with someone who was important in his life as well.

"Maybe your mom and me can take you sometime to see her sing, Johnny. She's a really great singer, much better than me." He told him with a chuckle as he looked over at Arianna again. "Yeeeeah," he exclaimed happily at Nate's suggestion to take him to see her sing. The young child was growing up in a circle where he was bound to have some creative outlet in the future, which made Nate want to lead him towards an interest in music at a young age.

If there was one thing that he knew Arianna and Johnny shared was that they were both shy. It took them each a good amount of time for tor them to feel comfortable around people, and he was that Arianna was now starting to bound with his nephew. It was a picture perfect moment so far.

Nate laughed, imagining the idea of Ryan around a child, it was a sight he had personally not seen before, much like Arianna's first interactions with a kid just now. "Oh, now you and Ryan taking care of a small child is something I would love to see. Maybe we can get him to teach Johnny guitar," he suggested with a small chuckle. He nodded his head in agreement, "He is pretty much in the middle of the music epicenter." Johnny once again spoke up, "Fucking cool! Fucking cool!" He exclaimed excitedly, smacking his hands against his own legs. Nate looked over at Arianna with a baffled expression. "Did... did you just teach him a new word, babe?"

Nate shrugged his shoulders, smirking at her comment. "I mean, I'm not sure. I know you two like smoking a little something when you guys get together." He hinted, tapping his lips, adding with a chuckle. He was still not certain that he had said such thing after hearing it, but it was made clear when Ari was covering his mouth.

He took Johnny and carried him up to sit beside him on the sofa. "That's a bad word to say, Johnny. Aunt Arianna wasn't thinking about what she was saying. Promise me you won't repeat that word?" He nodded his head slowly, Nate ruffling with his hair a bit. "It's okay, buddy. You just have to be careful about what you say. Some words just aren't good to say." He reached into Johnny's pocket, pulling out the hundred dollar bills she put in his pocket, placing it on the glass coffee table in front of them. "We're talking about that later, Ari."

Nate chuckled, nodding his head. "Yeah, like I don't know what you and Ryan love to do in between studio breaks." He focused on his little nephew for a moment before hearing Arianna speak.

"Yeah, well, your aunt Ari thinks everything can be fixed by money." He shoots back at her, before looking down at Johnny who still seemed a bit clueless to what was happening just from the phrase he repeated. "Hey, how about we get you some ice cream? You want some ice cream?" Johnny slowly nodded his head, starting to laugh as Nate tickled his stomach.

Nate chuckled at her remark, shaking his head slightly. "God only knows what goes between your lips during those breaks, honey."

He kept an eye over on Arianna as he entertained Johnny, taking his hand as they stand up from the couch, heading towards the kitchen, opting to ignore her latest comment. "Are we getting aunt Ari ice cream too, Nate?" Johnny asked in a low shyly voice. Despite Nate being upset at her at the moment, he smiled a little, shrugging his shoulders. "I don't know, little man. If she wants ice cream she'll come with us." He told him as his nephew looked back to where she was as they moved to the kitchen area.

Nate laughed under his breath, nodding his head, "Well, knowing your mother, I'm not surprised."

He chuckled, rolling his eyes at Arianna's reply as she remains in the living room. He let go of Johnny's small hand, opening the freezer and grabbing the ice cream. He reached for a top cabin in the kitchen and grabbed a bowl, scooping out a few times and dropping the vanilla ice cream on the bowl. He handed the bowl to John with a small spoon for him to use. "Thank you, Nate!" He excitedly said, making Nate smile. "You're welcome, Johnny. Now let's go to the table so you can eat it neatly. I don't want your mom to pick you up all messy." They moved back to the dining room table, in view of the living room somewhat. He helped Johnny up to the closes chair, as he happily grabbed the spoon and began to eat.

Once he knew John was settled for the moment, he returned to where Arianna was, kissing the top of her head before crouching down to meet her face. "Listen, Ari, I love you. I really do. But you can't be giving Johnny money just to have him from saying inappropriate things. You can't be handing out money like that to people to fix things. I don't want him to learn that. You want to give out money, give it to a charity or something, make it for a good cause, please, babe."

Nate sighed softly, nodding his head. He knew Arianna did not have the same experience around children and he understood that. She was no natural with Johnny, he was just pleased for the fact she tried, even in her own ways. "It's okay, babe. You can treat him and make him happy in other ways, but just putting a hundred dollar bill in his pocket isn't a way to do it. I know this is something new for you."

He briefly looks over to see Johnny to eating the ice cream, happily kicking his feet as he does. "He seems to be getting to like you already. I'll give you some pointers so you can have success in this whole kids thing." Nate returned to look at her midway through his sentence, smirking softly as he gave her a gentle kiss on the lips.
