Early Life & Career Beginnings
Sonye Tania Santana was born on September 29, 1985 in Bogota, Columbia. Sonye's parents divorced while she was 8 years old. And going to therapy sessions for 2 years straight has made her accept the split up between her parents. Sonye attended the Bogota High School of Performing arts when she hit the age of 14. She excelled in all of her major subjects and took dance, chorus, and English Language Arts classes.

Sonye had different careers in mind for herself. At first she wanted to become a commercial model. Then, a dancer. And choices began to change time and time again until she decided to be a singer. At the age of 17 in April, Sonye began to pack for college. She was accepted into many schools around the world. She was accepted into Le Havre University in Le Havre, France. She was also accepted into Philadelphia University in Philadelphia, USA. Many other schools accepted her as well and she then planned to attend Columbia University in New York City. In August 17, 2002, Sonye began to study Music Production at Columbia University. Whilst studying in college, she worked at Burger King.

Sonye is currently planning to begin recording.
