Me'Ria is a theatricial pop/urban vocalists from New York, Chicago that grew up in performing act school around New York. Me'Ria Renea Beray was born on Febuary 6th 1989. Her mother, Victoria gave birth to her when her father, Edward was surviving by fighting at the miltary to work for his family. Victoria worked as a vocal teacher where the love of music came from. Her long and strong vocals and strong songwriting ablities Victoria natured since the age of six herself. The whole Beray family are all naturally peformers, not such a big family; all came from New York with struggling families and income, but managed to keep living and fighting to live the dreams as a performer. Me'Ria's family was born into music with instrumentals players and singers. Victoria struggled trying to raise Me'Ria outhought the young child's life. Her father, Edward will come and see them after getting time off from the war. Me'Ria never saw her dad as much, but sent pictures and wrote letters since the day she was born, Victoria kept the letters and gave it to Me'Ria when she was in 11th grade. Me'Ria felt she knew her father but didnt remember the times they shared because she was so young, only pictures and stories Victoria told her about her father. Victoria often saw the performer in Me'Ria, from the very first time Me'Ria went around singing Whitney Houston and Toni Braxton around the house. Victoria witnessed Me'Ria dressing up in crazy wings Victoria had and outfits to put on shows for the family when they will come over. Me'Ria charged money to see her perform, singing pop songs as a young child at age six and dancing around the house with a hairbrush as a mic. Me'Ria loved attention to got from the singing and dancing. Me'Ria decided to pursuie that at the early age of nine. Victoria started to take the dreams of Me'Ria seriously when Me'Ria will stay up on late nights, singing or telling stories on how she will want to be a big star in music. Me'Ria will often daydream about performing on stage, and how she wants her life. The big creativy came at a age of 11 when Me'Ria started to write music along with learning to play the piano with her mother. Victoria started to give Me'Ria vocal training after Victoria graduated college for music. Victoria wanted to provide a better life for the two so in 8th grade, both moved to New Jersey where Victoria started a small music business for vocals and instrumentals. Victoria made sure that if Me'Ria wanted to be a star or even be a entertainer period, she will have to work for it. She didnt push her to do it, Me'Ria was a excited girl and was very thrilled to learn about the business and about music.

Victoria spent hours working with Me'Ria on songs and dance moves, even covers songs on popular artists like Beyonce, Destiny Child, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion, some of Me'Ria influences to build up the artist in Me'Ria. Me'Ria started to take home schooled in the ninth grade and had just a few friends. Me'Ria was friendly, but was very serious about her art and craft of music. She will often just not attend events and go out to have fun. She just wanted to play the piano all day and write music. After a talent show, Me'Ria attended where she won first place for her strong voice that Victoria had been devoloping for three years; Me'Ria wanted to take her carrer to the next level.

Beray family helped Me'Ria at age of 14 get a demo together to send to record labels. Her uncle, James Carter prouduced the beats and melodies and music was written by Me'Ria and her oldest cousin, Ja'Ri Beray where the duo wrote bubble gum, friendly pop hits. Record labels rejected her and said she wasnt ready. Me'Ria didnt stop, she worked even harder, taking dance lessons and attended different open mics at a early age, Victoria helping Me'Ria network with music around New York. She will record singles and perform them in front of a audience to get negative or postive feedback. Me'Ria always loved the thrill and the passion of theatre and puts that love in her performances and voice along with her music. Me'Ria strong acting ablities was discovered when she did a short run broadway play in New York where she met music prouducer, he calls himself, 1Ace. A urban prouducer that was looking for a female vocalist to work with.

Me'Ria went to 1Ace's studio to audition for him and loved the powerhouse voice Me'Ria presented to him. He wanted to wait until Me'Ria graduated from school to start her music full-time. After graduating high school, Me'Ria flew out to LA with her mother to start to work with him. Now she is working on a music in LA, looking for a label to call home. Me'Ria is a powerful voice, soulful yet high pitched alto voice with the impressions of Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Antia Baker. She gives great soulful tones like Adele, but stays soft and relaxed like Ciara.
