The song was recorded in New York City in October 2011. Rowan had this to say about the topic of the song: "I Found Love is really fun. It's about how even though you have moved on, and you are starting to date, or maybe you are even in a serious relationship, the ex still hasn't gotten over you, and he thinks that you still love him too. You know, he is so ignorant, he thinks that you have waited for him, because neither of you could find anything better out there."

Song Description
The song starts out with Rowan's vocals, and gradually adds piano, and some techno sounds in the second verse. The chorus features the vocals cutting through some electronic beats, and as the song hits the third verse, it slows again, and builds back up to the power of the chorus. The bridge features the highest vocal of A5, with some rocker beats in the back of it. The bridge also features a electric guitar, which gets a solo in the song. The song finishes out with her voice only.
