' Set the Bass' is a Dubstep/Dance hip club joint that was written by DJ Thunder. He recorded this song in his own studio that he just got together last year to start to record his own music. He wanted a track to reflect on his hardcore personality, but a dance song that makes you want to get down and dirty on the dancefloor. To let loose yourself when you are trying to enjoy yourself- his outrages persona of DJ Thunder shows in this song. He adds his signature saying in the beginning of the song to his signature pattern bass with straches sound of DJ plates being heard in the back. He takes the style of his dupstep, hip hop and adds a huge flavor of dance to it. He doesnt want to be safe with his music, this track he put in fun and energetic movements in the instrumental. His smooth voice adds to the fast movement to the track to take dance to another level for males.

At the beginning is sound of a rocket taking off to a slow pattern of bass drums being heard and straches of a DJ plates being heard, blending well with claps effects that mixes well with the heavy bass and rockets taking off to add the extra energetic element. The dubstep becomes heard in a fast movement of the bass and claps becomes more faster, speeding up as each claps approches, but then gets you crunk with a crunk movement of electro bass and guiters that comes in after the first hook is singed by DJ Thunder. During the second verse, the bass is only heard with DJ Thunder adding all the elements of rock in this beat, going further with electro sound of sounding like someone is stepping on the ground with heavy feet. The rocket effects comes back with background vocals screaming Ooooo, everytime the effect is heard. Before the bridge is a dance break where the beat is 2x as fast as when it first speeded up. Before going back into the hook, the claps are only heard to DJ going back into a dance break with his impressive skills of mixing the songs with DJ plates, he cuts off, making into a chopped mix of the beats. At the end of the song, he lets go of the plates sounding as if all the sound of the beat is turning off. It ends with claps and a short electro step that will get you moving again.
