Ya’ll know enough about me already so I’ll keep this short. Basically, I’m getting a little bored and over hip-hop and I’m trying to rekindle my love for music. I’ve always loved rock music. Artists like Jimi Hendrix and The Doors have always been a major influence on me and that’s pretty plain to see even on my album Revelations which was pretty much made solely as a hip-hop album.

Continuum x Infinity (meant to be pronounced as continuum times infinity) is my outlet for releasing different music. I mean different as in not the ordinary Ramon Omari song. People ask me if this is just a side project or if this is gonna be my main project in the future and the answer is... No, it’s not just a side project and I’m putting a lot of work into it. I can’t really predict if I’ll spend more time on this than on my solo career as Ramon Omari in the future. At times one will be more important than the other or get most of my attention but they will both always be there.

Joey and Marvin Berman are possibly the two most underground musicians that everyone really needs to hear. They can both do anything, sing, rap, play any instrument invented and can make anything sound great. I’m really excited for everyone to hear them when we get around to releasing some music. They unfortunately aren’t here right now, they’re in New Orleans visiting their family, so I have to write this introduction for them.

- Ramon Omari.

Joey and Marvin Berman
The Berman brothers were born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana by their single mother. The two brothers were initially not very close. Joey likes to describe their childhood as him being a nerd: "I was like the nerd, into video games and stuff like that, and Marvin was more like, popular and into hanging out and girls." True to their often cantankerous relationship, Marvin begs to differ: "Ah man, that’s just how Joe likes to say it, but that ain’t how it was. Joe was always a cool motherfucker; it’s just that we didn’t fuck with each other like that." Although they shared the same roof, and the same interest in marching band, where they honed their playing prowess, the two ran in different circles in high school. Joey cites Soundgarden’s fourth album Superunknown (1994) as the first rock album that he really listened to. Marvin has credited Oasis’ second album (What’s the Story?) Morning Glory (1995) as the album that brought them together: "I bought that record and we’d just sit around after school listening to it all afternoon." Within a year of the two hanging out and writing music, they hooked up with an uncle who was a local producer and started to create songs together. Marvin has said: "We started off calling ourselves The Berman Bro’s and we’d go over to his studio to make beats and songs." The brothers were displaced after Hurricane Katrina hit their hometown, after which the brothers relocated to New York, New York.
