 Nicole Jackson - Lead Guitarist (mebeme101)  Lewis Parker - Lead Vocals (McKenzie_)  Nico Bianco - Drummer (troy211619) (Image Loading....) Dante Valence - Bassist (DistortedAudio)   At the end of Spring 2011, Dante Valence was booted from his old band and in spite he began actively searching for a new band. At a cafe, after putting a Classified ad in the local paper, he met Lewis, Nicole and Nico. After determining that they could form a band, they chose to name themselves THE LINGERISTS days later.  DEMO TALK - 11/19/11--- We're still a new band, so as one, we're still looking for opportunities to grow,
to further ourselves as musicians and more than anything else, get that elusive
first record deal. We've played several critically acclaimed shows around town
so we think we're ready for the next step, a demo. After we're done with this
demo, we'll send it out to a few labels (probably smaller ones like Nomad,
Grey Ghost or Novocaine.) So, and I hate to say this, 'watch this space'.
We make sick crazy music that's full of energy and life and heaps of uh
feelings and so on. Hope you check us out, pick up our demo if we can
release it publicly.

Lewis' Blog Update #1 Hello world! As you may or may not know.. well, you will know if your on here, that I am Lewis Parker of The Lingerists. Ill start off by telling you a bit about myself and the band. The band was originally formed by bassist Dante Valence, he put an ad up stating he was looking to start a band and needed members. So, along come Me, Nicole and Nico. We met up with Dante individually at the 'rendezvous' point and from their we started talking and ultimately became The Lingerists. The past fee months we have been jamming and writing new music to try and get out to you, the public in order to make our mark. That's that.
Now, on a little note about myself. My name is Lewis Charlie Parker and i am originally from London in England. I was born in London but at the age of 2 i moved to the USA, to my fathers home town in Seattle which is where i have lived since. I am 20 years old and provide vocals for the band! Their is much more to say but ill save it for a later time...
I'll leave you all with one final note, I have written a real "this is us" kind of song which we will hopefully record and get it out to you all very, very soon! For now, take care and check back for regular updates! |

Introducing Nico Blanco Hey guys, this is Nico Blanco here..:) For those of you who don't know me (I know all of you don't know me, yet) I am the drummer for the band The Lingerists, a name that soon everyone would know. Well since Lewis already told everyone a brief history of the band, I guess that leaves more space for me to write about myself..:) So my full name is Ricardo Nicolas Blanco Jr. (call me Nico please), born on March 12, 1993 (that makes me 18) in Milan but raised in New York City. My father is a wealthy Italian businessman and my mother is a famous French supermodel, seriously. But with that kind of background, I'm not a rich brat, though a lot of people think I am. In fact, my parents kicked me out just because I didn't want to go to law school, it's been 4 months now and I still haven't heard from them, great parents. So you may be fooled by my appearance, but try to reach out to me and maybe you'd get to know the real me. So I am the drummer for the band, originally the rhythm guitarist but we had no drummer. I've never played in a rock band before, though I did join a marching band and a school choir back in middle school. I am a self taught multi instrumentalist who mixed up some old school rock like The Beatles and The Who, some hard stuff like Nirvana, a little funk from Jimi Hendrix, and a whole lotta groove from MJ himself to be the unique musician I wish to be. - Nico Blanco |
