David Luna? "Who exactly is David Luna?" you say. Well you are about to get to know him in the next couple of weeks. The reason you should be excited to even read out his name is because David Luna is the mastermind behind a lot of pop star's dance music videos.David Luna is known for his incredibly dancing skills and input on many dance music production. While he considers himself to be the blueprint to a lot of dance artist, he isn't quite fairly known.

David Luna has been working intensevely on his debut album for over three months, however Mr. Luna officially landed a record deal in January 23, 2012 with E Records right after the launch of the label. Luna is also set to go on tour with Stephanie Fierce as opening act for "The Queen of Pop Era" World Tour. Already seeing much success the "house" star is set to debut a single sometime in April or May. So are you anticipating Mr. Luna? We sure hope so, cause so far we're impressed.

This week you'll get to read the full lenght interview on NME new issue (OOC: March 17, 2012). Here's some bits and pieces from the article:

Quote:
"I've sat and watch the industry for quite a long time, and I've enjoyed myself with the music that's been put out. I'm not gonna be one of those people who tried to put music down because every generation deserves its idol and music. I decided to call my first album "Immortal Words" because I feel like this album will be something my listeners will never forget. There's a deep connection the listeners will have while listening to this album. That's pretty ballsy for me to say, especially since I'm making a debut but I'm working hard to create something that people can dance to, but also something they can keep in their hearts.

--

I'm looking at everything from art, what you will see visually, what you will hear, what you will probably think and I'm pushing the buttons and taking risks for every bit of what I do. I want to be an unique artist. I want to push the boundaries and keep myself in a steady pace."

--

I will say that my album is a agressive in some parts. There's a song called "The Morning Piss" and it's a bit hard core, but it's something people can still get into and enjoy. So far I've been impressed with the new record label, because they've allowed me to express myself musically any way I want to and they have also showed me how to be patient with music.

--

Overall the album is shaping up to be something big, but I'm more interested or at least excited to introduce my performing style. I'm a different kind of electronic live artist. I want to bring electronic music to the stage and make it more present." - David Luna

erica: frankly, electronic music scares the piss out of me. while we are shaking our butts to the beats, the robots are slowly taking over.

nina:*nods* yup. then the robots attach vibrators to themselves and mate with humans, love.

erica:scary stuff..yet kinda hot.

nina: until the baby rips you in two with its chainsaw tongue.
