Raised and born in the violent streets of New York, Doujin, real name Jake Preston started to turn to music for the escape of the drugs and money that his family was faced with. His very nice and relaxed voice got his recognized by many of New York's finest and talented producer, making his signature hardcore and unique styled pop and rnb music to create neon-soul that he sings well with a big range. His creativity and his inspiration of heartbreak, revenge and sorrow is the inspiration of his deep and loving songs that portrays wonderful egos in his head he portrays on stage. His brilliant, but yet unique style of writing music has a strange connection to how he views and sees love and the world. He makes pop and rnb music, neo-soul and makes a strong and weird sound. Something out of the ordinary and something that you will hear in the future of pop music. He creates dances and egos based on the music that he creates. Futuristic sounds and blues with french instrumentals is the sound that Doujin aims for to create his strong ego and harsh reality of his world he creates around himself and music. He doesn't try and stay original. He likes to go out of the box and do creepy and weird shit, even thought he is a risky factor in music. He stays true to himself and his personality by reminding himself where he has come from and how where he come from and his life reflects on his sound. His strong and electric dance moves that he choreographs himself is the entertainer we have all been wanting for.

" Music is an obsession I don't want to get rid off. It's addiction, it's my drug I love to take.. it's my heart that I love to beat. With you here with me. I'm the only feel it takes.."
