Her performance for the night had left her pumped and if she could she would go back and do it all over again the exact same way. Lost in her thoughts, as she headed back to her dressing room, she didn't notice that she was about to bump into the annoying interview woman she hated so much until it was too late. The two collided into one another, so hard that the drink that the woman was holding almost spilled on Aubrey. Aubrey however, saw it coming and stepped back just in time before the drink had a chance to come falling down on her favorite expensive outfit. Though it was a close call, that still didn't stop her from being mad. Aubrey stared down at the woman, an angry look on her face that made the expression "if looks could kill" a reality. Aubrey's back up singers had been walking in front of her when they heard all of the commotion and turned around. Now looking on, they could see the angry look on Aubrey's face and knew that the woman was about to get it. Just great, Aubrey's pissed. You know I bet we're going to get the wrath of her fury later on. Just you watch" said one of the singers to the others. "Girrlll I know what you saying. I feel sorry for that chick cause she about to get it. This won't be good, lets just get out of here." said another. "You ain't said nothing but a thing. Lets go." The three of them both hurry off away from all the chaos just in time as Aubrey begin to go off on the woman. "What the hell is your problem!? I know you saw me walking." The woman, a worried look upon her face, began pleading with Aubrey. "Oh Aubrey. Please forgive me, I simply wasn't paying attention to where I was going. It happens you know." She stepped closer, grabbing Aubrey's hand. Aubrey snatched it away quickly and pushed the woman back a little. "Don't let it happen again or you'll be sorry. Got that?" The woman nodded and Aubrey pushed her to the side to walk past her. "Wait! I need to interview you about your performance this week" said the woman yelling after her. Aubrey kept walking. "Not in the mood so leave me alone." The woman stood there, looking confused. Moments later she rushed after Aubrey, walking beside her, trying to keep up with her as she spoke. "Oh but I have to interview you. Its my job and if I don't interview you then I'll get in trouble and then I'll...... Aubrey rolled her eyes, getting annoyed that this woman was now following her. She knew that she wouldn't go away or stop talking until she did the stupid interview no matter how much she didn't want to do it. Aubrey stopped dead in her tracks, taking the woman by surprise and causing her to almost lose her balance. Aubrey sighed before turning towards the woman, looking her in the eye. "If I do this interview will you leave me the hell alone?" "Yes of course. I won't bother you for the rest of the night. That's a promise" she said smiling. Aubrey folded her arms. "Then get to it and don't waste my time." The woman jumped up and down in excitement that she had gotten her to change her mind. "Thank you thank you. I promise to make this quick." She turned around to call her camera guy over, who was just a little ways behind them, helping himself to the refreshment table. He finished drinking his drink before walking over to them. "Alright. Everything is set. Lets get this interview rolling." The cameraman handed her a microphone and she begin to look into the camera, speaking once she was cued to. "Hello, I'm here with the lovely Aubrey Mikkel and we all just witnessed her performance for tonight. Aubrey, tell us all about what it was like to perform in front of Stephanie Fierce and if you think your performance will be enough to keep you in the competition." She turned to Aubrey, holding the mic out to her as she continued smiling.
Quote:Aubrey: "Performing in front of Stephanie Fierce on stage tonight was probably one of the highlights of my life. I certainly have a lot of admiration for her and I mean who wouldn't. She's quite dedicated to her work and she takes music to new heights. She's done so much and like myself, she tells it like it is. She's her own woman just like I am and I look forward to having the chance to personally meet her and also work alongside her one day. I also will say that a lot of people would be nervous performing in front of someone so brilliant. I, however, was not nervous and I just did my best like I always do. I will say that I did go a little extra this week because I did want her approval of course. I definitely earned it of course, I didn't really have any doubts about that but like I always say, woman of kind always respect one another. Its just the way it goes and I was right yet again. Each week, people tell me that my performance get better and better but I don't see it that way. I just go out there and give it my all. You can't win this competition if you don't put your all into it and I know I've been doing that since the competition started. With that said, I know that my performance was superb tonight and that the people will vote me safe this week. I plan to stay in this competition to the very end, making sure to do my best each time.
The woman brought the microphone back up to her lips, looking back at the camera once more. "Well you heard it all here folks. If you liked Aubrey's performance tonight, don't forget to vote for her and keep her in the competition. The judges had a lot to say about her as well as our special guests, Stephanie Fierce. Tell us what you thought about her performance on our community chat or follow us on Twitter. Stay tuned because after the show we'll be revealing next week's theme. See ya." She continues smiling until the cameraman signals that they're off air now. She turns around to speak to Aubrey but finds that Aubrey has already began walking away. "Thanks for the interview. Bye Aubrey." Aubrey continues walking, not bothering to yell anything back as she just wants to go home now. She makes her way to her dressing room, opening her door to find her back up singers scattered around in her dressing room, talking amongst one another. Aubrey, still in a bad mood, gets angry. She steps forward through the door, slamming it behind her. Everyone in the room becomes quiet as they all look up towards Aubrey, frightful looks on there faces as they know what's to come. Instead, Aubrey begins going off about the chaos from before, taking everyone by surprise as they figured she'd be yelling at them. "Can you believe that woman? The nerve of her bumping into to me then bothering the hell out of me until she got her stupid interview! I swear if I didn't already have my eyes set on the prize I would do something about her. I won't, however, let anything or anyone stand in my way. So for the moment, she'll just have to wait. I have better things to think about. Aubrey pushes past a few people, making her way to her favorite chair to sit down. Her manager hands her a usually tea, to help soothe her voice, and her veggie chips. One of her back up singers clears her throat before speaking up. "Forget about her boss. You're the best." The others join in, agreeing with her. Aubrey takes a sip of her tea before putting it down. "I know. Now get out of my dressing room. We have a busy day tomorrow. I want you all at rehearsals tomorrow bright and early. No excuses." She spins her chair around, turning her back from her band while they get up to leave, mumbling complaints as they leave. Now in the room alone, Aubrey sighs and begins thinking about how the night had turned out. Sometimes she wondered if doing this show was living up to her expectations at all any more. There were times, she admit, that it wasn't worth it. She wasn't one to give up, however, and besides singing was something she really enjoyed. She wanted to be one for as long as she could remember and wasn't going to let all of her planning go to waste. She had to win this competition because failing was not apart of her vocabulary. Snapping herself back to reality, Aubrey finished her tea then began gathering her things to leave to go home. As she walked out into the parking lot, she saw her driver holding her door open for her and got in. He closed the door before going around to the other side to get in and drive off. Aubrey sat back in her seat, closing her eyes as the driver drove home.
It was the night of the show and thousands of people were packing into the theater, getting ready to see the show. Aubrey sat in her chair in her dressing room, getting the finishing touches of make up applied to her face and her hair styled by her make up and hair stylists. The week had seemed like it would never end after day after day Aubrey practiced her choreography and voice over and over again. Her band and back up singers had did nothing but complain to her the whole week. "Why do we have to keep going over this? I mean we've got the routine and plus you got #1 this week. If anything we should be out celebrating!" said one of Aubrey's back up singers. The others began to agree with her, cheering on the idea. Aubrey however was not pleased and made sure they knew that. "Shut up! Now is not the time to be celebrating. I'll celebrate when the title is mine but for now you'll all get back to work. Everything has to be perfect for this week's show because there's no time for any flaws. Everything has to be on point from here on out. I will not tolerate any of you making me look bad now get back to work!" The others hesitated at first but got back into their positions, ready to start from the top but mumbling as they did. The sudden tap on Aubrey's shoulder caused her to come back into reality. She looked up to her stylist who looked concerned for her. "Aubrey, are you alright? I was calling your name like five or ten times." Aubrey stood, looking into the mirror at her hair and make up. "I'm fine. Just thinking about stuff. What did you want?" Her stylist nodded and relaxed her face. "Just was tying to tell you that they want you out in front. Its almost time for you to go on." Aubrey turned around, nodding before walking pass her and out the door. Once up in front, she peaked out onto the stage. Taking a look at what was going on out there before closing the curtain just as the annoying interviewer was walking up to her. "Hey Aubrey. Time for the interview. Oh you look very tired, are you okay?" For once the woman had gotten something right. She was very tired and worn out but knew that once she performed on stage in front of the thousands of screaming people, it would all be worth it. "I'm fine. Lets get to the interview now." The woman smiled and motioned for the cameraman that they were ready. He came over and handed her her microphone. "Hello everyone. I'm here with Aubrey Mikkel and her performance will be coming up in just a few. Make sure you don't miss it but for now we're about to talk to Aubrey herself. So Aubrey, a lot of things happened earlier this week. For one you were voted #1 and the person you liked in this competition the most, Kelli O'day, was eliminated. How do you feel about both of these events?" She held the mic up to Aubrey so that she could speak.
Quote:Aubrey: To be honest, I should have been #1 a long time ago but I'll gladly take the honor right now. I mean finally the people put me in my rightful place and I'm thankful for that. I definitely think that the Stephanie Fierce theme helped me out quite a bit because it was one of my strong suits. However, though I was #1 this week, I won't let myself get too comfortable knowing that. The competition is still going on and I must stay focus if I want to win it. So I will say that I didn't celebrate the victory because I have my mind set on the greatest victory of all, winning this competition. Once I do that then I will party all that I can stand. (smiles slightly) As far as Kelli being eliminated, I really think that the people made a bad choice. Kelli is by far the only other person, including myself, that has the "it" factor. Her reign was over way too soon and the people will regret sending her home for sure once they see how big she blows up someday. Now that its just only myself here now, I'll be representing for us both. (looking into the camera) Good luck Kelli."
The woman holds the mic back to her and looks back into the camera. "Aubrey is up next. We'll she continue to warm your hearts or end up in the bottom linage? Stay tuned to fine out." She smiles and calls to Aubrey, as she is already making her way out on stage. "Good luck Aubrey." Aubrey waves her hand in the air as a "yeah yeah" reply before she grabs her microphone from the stage manager and heads out onto the stage. The curtain is closed and she can hear the announcer up on stage, getting ready to announce her next. Aubrey quickly sits down on the stool she will be starting out on as her band and back up singers take their places behind her. As the announcer calls her name, the audience begins cheering loudly, chanting her name. The lights dim down and the curtain rises back. All eyes are on the stage, as they wonder out of curiosity what will happen next. A few moments later, the lights light up the stage a little, revealing Aubrey sitting down on a stool with a mic in her hand. Behind her her band begins to play the music to Monica's "Love All Over Me" while the back up singers begin swaying to the beat. Once the song comes around to the first verse, Aubrey holds the mic up to her lips to begin singing the song, letting out that powerful and soulful voice of hers.

Aubrey gets up from her stool and heads over to the mic stand that is standing in front of the center of the stage. She places the microphone in the mic stand and places her hands on the mic, grabbing it. She begins singing the second verse and a large part of the audience stands up singing the words along with her. Once the chorus arrives, Aubrey kicks her voice up a note higher, letting loose her powerful voice that every knows and loves. As she sings, she motions with her hands, trying to give off all of the emotion she feels into the song.

When the bridge arrives, Aubrey takes the microphone off of the mic stand before walking over across the stage as she sings the bridge to the song. Aubrey goes over to the edge of the stage, reaching down to shake a few hands while she continues to sing out the rest of the bridge. Once the bridge is over, the song breaks down into the chorus yet again. This time, however, Aubrey doesn't sing the chorus but lets her back up singers sing it along. While they sing, Aubrey begins adlibbing instead and moving her body to the music.

Aubrey hits the last note, adlibbing even as the music stops. Once she's done, all around the room the audience is up on their feet applauding her terrific performance. They begin chanting her name, as they continue clapping and whistling at her. She can't help but to smile a and for the first time she takes a bow, surprising her band mates and herself as well. She knew that tonight had gone very well and she was very proud of herself for making it this far. She hoped that the judges would think that her performance was amazing as well. As the announcer came back on stage, she calmed herself, looked back at her band to get them a slight smile for a good job before turning around to get ready for the judges to deliberate.
