Avatar Studios (New York) Conway Recording Studios (Hollywood, LA) Henson Recording Studios (Hollywood, LA)Genre: Pop, Rock, DanceLabel: Hot Eye RecordsProducer: George King, Benny Bruno, Drew Westbrook, Serenity Scott_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________Teenage Era is the first studio album by American recording artist Serenity Scott. It is scheduled to be released in several countries on 21 July, 2012 in both standard and deluxe edition through major record label North Hill Records. The recording sessions for the album began back in January 2012, but most of the songs were already written back in 2011. For the album, Serenity worked with producers such as Benny Bruno, George King, and Drew Westbrook. Music wise, the album consists of genres such as pop, rock, and dance. It also has some songs that's featured with a little dance music included. Teenage Era is also heavily influenced by several sub-genres of rock music such as disco-rock, electro-rock, and pop-rock. In terms of influence by other sources, the album's influence also derives from popular rock music from the 80's. So far, the album has already spawned 2 hit singles: 'Wonderland' and 'Escape from the Back', both respectively reaching number 5 and number 12 on the Top 20 Digital Singles chart with both being certified gold since release. A recent single 'Part of Him (Within Me)' was released for digital download and airplay, and is expected by her label executives to do well on the charts. Scott began to promoting the album in early 2012. She made an appearance on the critically acclaimed 'Music Box' where she was interviewed and premiered her music video for her single 'Escape from the Back'. She also performed at the 'Field Trip Festival' before the eyes of over 100,000 attendees, performing some of her songs there. Serenity also built up hype for the album through the social networking site Twitter and Facebook and more. Before the release of the album, Serenity is expected to make an appearance on MTV to do further promotion of the album. Several album signing dates have been scheduled throughout the US and the UK. Serenity will be on tour with both boy-band 'Weekend' and 'Vanity' on their European and North American tour dates. There was originally supposed to be a total of 13 tracks on the standard edition, but Serenity didn't feel that one of the songs should be on the album. Due to this, it will affect both the deluxe and standard edition. Wonderland - Released 21 May, 2012Escape from the Back - Released 8 June, 2012Part of Him (Within Me) - Released 1 July, 2012
Genre: Pop-rock, Dance-popLength: 3:52Release: Digital Download ReleaseLabel: N/ATrack/Album In the MakingSerenity Scott is finally stepping out of the studio to release this smoking hot new track that her fans had been desperately waiting for. She still isn't finished recording her untitled debut album, and although the album is half-completed, Serenity felt it was time for a single to drop for promotional and a trailer for the album. She began working constantly and non-stop in the studio these last few months. A planned release date for the album has been planned by Serenity and her team/management and they (including Serenity) feel that the album will be completed sometime in June and is planning to release multiple singles before the album drops. Her management team, manager, and even Serenity herself had felt that 'Wonderland' is the best track to represent the album and give the fans an insider on what the album will be like. 'Wonderland' Delays and IssuesSerenity had announced several times via Twitter that her debut single 'Wonderland' would have been released but never did. She had apologised to her fans on Twitter many times and due to the delay of the single, she released the cover artwork just a few days ago and had drawn a lot of hype. 'Wonderland' was supposed to be released for digital download release earlier this month, but Serenity felt the urge to rework the track composition and after agreeing with her team that the song is good of use as a trailer insight for the album, she began working with an relatively unknown producer with outstanding skills to create an excellent sound for the album and for a few other tracks she had recorded just recently. Now, this pop-rock singer is finally out with her debut single 'Wonderland'. The Sound/Composition'Wonderland' is a meaningful song that defines true love. The main genre of the song is of pop-rock, but it has background sounds of dance and house. The lyrics to the song combining with the instrumental of the song makes a perfect record. Often many times, many pop stars release horrible music with a catchy beat, but with this song, Serenity proves herself to be a great aspiring singer-songwriter that releases and brings forth quality lyricism with good sounds. The track begins starts out with a memorizing tempo of 132 beats per minute. A studio guitar playing melody is being heard behind Serenity's voice as she sings. Also, a dance tempo melody is heard throughout the song as well. The chorus verse of the song has a louder guitar playing dance melody, a memorizing beat with remarkable lyrics. The verses of the song are the same as the first verse, except for the chorus part of the track. After the second chorus, Serenity sings a short verse with lines ending rhythms, again something that makes this track so remarkable and unique. The chorus is then heard once again and the song fades after she finishes another short verse (the last in parenthesis) and the songs ends. Lyrics:Words that come out you're mouth are like lullabye songs You're my warm fire, keeping me warm throughout my days Battery supplier that always has my switch turned on Yes you're the main reason why I stay so strong This journey that we've been on has been hella a while Memories go way back, way back in style I'd runawy with you and walk 7 miles
I'd runaway with you, all the way to Wonderland I'd run 10 miles, run 10 miles to prove my love for you Let's dance my man, night out in France Perfect getaway - bra, panties, no pants I'd runawy with you, all the way to Wonderland That's how much I love you, want to call you my man
You told me I'm beautiful and like non other You're my lucky star, like a perfect weather I know I could never ask for anyone or anything else better You were there the most when it seemed I had a missing feather
Now I, just want you to know how much I need you I'd do anything just for you (anything just for you) Love so strong, It's like I know what you're about say That's to prove how much you are to me
I'd runaway with you, all the way to Wonderland I'd run 10 miles, run 10 miles to prove my love for you Let's dance my man, night out in France Perfect getaway - bra, panties, no pants I'd runawy with you, all the way to Wonderland That's how much I love you, want to call you my man
You proved to me that I could love you for eternity You proved to me that you won't tear my heart consistently You proved to me that in the future we'll share so many memories You proved to me that you're the best a girl can ask for, that a certainty
I'd runaway with you, all the way to Wonderland I'd run 10 miles, run 10 miles to prove my love for you Let's dance my man, night out in France Perfect getaway - bra, panties, no pants I'd runawy with you, all the way to Wonderland That's how much I love you, want to call you my man
(Feel you in my soul, see you in my dreams. Boy you're my lucky star, my shooting star. I'm going to love you for all eternity. Yes I'd love you for infinity, thats a certainty!)Sounds Similiar to:

[/SPOILER] Title: Escape from the BackGenre: Pop-rock, PopLength: 3:28Format: CD Single, Digital Download, AirplayLabel: Liberation RecordsTrack Background/SoundWhen Serenity first began recording her debut album, 'Teenage Era', this was one of the first tracks recorded for the album. Originally, 'Escape from the Back', was intended to be released as the official lead single off of the album, but due to the large feedback from Serenity's promo single 'Wonderland', she decided to make it as the official lead single off the album. Just as Serenity said in an interview on Culture Uncut that she would be releasing plenty of single before the album drops, she is feeding her fans with more quality music. Serenity wrote this song from inspirations from one of her past relationships. Yes, there will be songs that you can dance too from her upcoming debut, but she also wanted songs that people can relate too in life and she wanted to share some of her past with her fans. Sounds Like:
Lyrics: Remember when I'd try so hard to sleep at night And I had a problem of knowing when to fight And telling the difference between wrong and right Because for me it's not black and white (But more like) Trying to tell the difference from darkness and light One draws you in,surrounds you,in an embrace so tight And the other helps you to see what's all ready insight But I still feel like I'm still blind I can't face foreword without looking behind (trying to find) Some closure and put some peace in my mind But I felt so lost going round and around But then I found someone who thinks like I do His words are in my head He looked me straight in the eyes And this is what he said
Escape from the back When they turn they're back And hope you're in their prayers Cause the worst thing that can happen with something like this Is to find out nobody cares
Escape from the back When they turn they're back And hope you're in their prayers Cause the worst thing that can happen with something like this Is to find out nobody cares
We haven't spoken in a long time But his words still plays in the back of my mind Like when he said Life is like a game you win and you lose Somethings you don't control others you do The penalty's and rewords that lie on the paths we choose Unravel to us that truth So it's all in the way you play You got to let your life grow You be the mold You can't refuse to play you're hand and always fold But sometimes the cards pile up And when they crash down there's no way to pick em up
Escape from the back When they turn they're back And hope you're in their prayers Cause the worst thing that can happen with something like this Is to find out nobody cares
Escape from the back When they turn they're back And hope you're in their prayers Cause the worst thing that can happen with something like this Is to find out nobody cares
And it wasn't my time to go so to make things faster I pressed fast forward Somethings in life you can't control, this one I do But I spent over an hour trying to think of a way to explain to you Because I know after all that we've been through This whole thing seems so unfair But all I got to say, Now that I've gone away Is I hope that I'm in you're prayers
Escape from the back When they turn they're back And hope you're in their prayers Cause the worst thing that can happen with something like this Is to find out nobody cares _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Title/Length: Part of Him (Within Me)/(3:49) Genre: Synthpop, Indie pop Label: North Hill Records Released: 1 July, 2012 Format: CD Single, Digital Download Written & Produced By: Serenity Scott, George KingRecently, Serenity Scott has been labeled as the music industry's 'Next Big Thing' shortly after the release of her debut single 'Wonderland'. Just like everything else, there is a reason behind this, and her top-notch catchy lyrics are part of the reasons why. Not too many artist have gotten famous by releasing a song that had buzzed all over the internet, and this was the case with Serenity when she released 'Wonderland'. She quickly became a trending topic globally as reviews surfaced from many different sources, including Lightning Bolt, Picture Perfect, and the top-dogs Culture Uncut. This massive amount of hype led to her signing with the major record label 'Liberation Records', now renamed as 'North Hill Records'. North Hill is the type of label where it is a must that you have that you have epic talent to display onto the world, and if you don't have that kind of abilities, you'll never be on the label, unlike many other labels that only sign artists based on their marketability rate. Many never saw it coming that Serenity would've be signed under the management of both Ryan Ross Hernandez and Nadia Berry, alongside the roster of major established artists such as Vanity, Coyle, and more! With the rise of Serenity's popularity and her debut single peaking at #5 on the Top 20 Digital Songs Chart, she was nominated for 'Best Newcomer' on the Chaos Awards show, the industry's biggest awards ceremony. Unfortunately, she lost to the likes of Anna Villiot, another female pop artist who had her popularity soaring the same time Serenity did. This defeat however is not stopping Serenity, but is just making her more motivated than she already was, and she says that it's another step forward for her.
Part of Him (Within Me) is the third and final single before Serenity's debut album drops on the 21st of this month. This release shows a softer 'pop' side of Serenity, with main genres of Synth-pop and Indie-pop. The song was written and produced by both Serenity and the well-known producer George King. Serenity described this song as 'fun', yet meaningful personally. The music video for this song has already been filmed and is already in the process of being edited. The release date of the music video wasn't revealed as yet, but Serenity says that it will be here soon! She describes the scenes of the video as intriguing and captivating.Sounds Like:

Lyrics:(Verse One)
Don't mind your flaws 'Cause your perfect in my eyes I admire when you give it your all Thats what makes you light up like a fire-fly in the dark Since we made this work for so long I can't help but think that everyone else was wrong We're like a fortress, we're so strong You've been the one I been needing for all along
(Your not perfect, I'm not perfect, We're not perfect at all But somehow we somehow made it, even though we had our worst flaws And I just can't help but think that, your as addicting as a drug Boy I'm hook right all up on you, just like dust on a rug)
(Chorus)
Like anesthesia he takes me out of my misery He boosts me, my veins are rushing with adrenaline He is toxic, and his beauty is just killing me So addicting, now part of him lives within me
(Oh-Oh), Part of Him is within me (oh-Oh), Part of Him lives within me (Oh-Oh), Part of Him is within me (Oh-Oh), Part of Him lives within me
(INTRSUMENTAL PLAYS)
(Verse Two)
When our hairs start to fall, I hope we'll still be together With gray hair and all, we'll be embracing on each other 'Cause I can't even think of a day that we separate And I just can't imagine us going two separate ways Leaving you, you leaving me, would be my fate 'Cause without you I don't think I can last just one day
(Your not perfect, I'm not perfect, We're not perfect at all But somehow we somehow made it, even though we had our worst flaws And I just can't help but think that, your as addicting as a drug Boy I'm hook right all up on you, just like dust on a rug)
(Chorus)
Like anesthesia he takes me out of my misery He boosts me, my veins are rushing with adrenaline He is toxic, and his beauty is just killing me So addicting, now part of him lives within me

(Chorus)
Like anesthesia he takes me out of my misery He boosts me, my veins are rushing with adrenaline He is toxic, and his beauty is just killing me So addicting, now part of him lives within me
