David Letterman: My next guest has been having a terrific year. She’s just come off her latest tour which grossed over 110,000,000 million dollars. Her last studio album, Reveal has just officially sold over six million copies Worldwide. And she’s here to talk about her re-release of the album, Reveal, Revealing, Revealed (Dave stumbles over the album title), and she will perform later on the show, Everybody, please welcome Tisssha Jackson!!!*Dave’s band play their version “Fiercest One In Town”. Tisha steps out onto the stage rocking a red v-lined dress. Her hair still fiery red and very curly. The audience is ROARING. Their girl is back in her hometown. Tisha smiles at the audience, in awe, and puts a heart sign in the air to them (her signature move). She then swiftly walks to Dave, her hair bouncing in the air. She gives Dave a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek. The audience is rocking the house with the overwhelming cheer.
David Letterman: Tisha Jackson everybody!!!*Tisha still in awe, waves her hand high in the air to everyone and sits down in her chair. The audience still cheering.*
*Dave looks at Tisha up and down* “Look at how lovely you look in this”.*Tisha grinning* “Awww, thank you!”
David Letterman: You’re just heavenly for heaven’s sakes. How are you enjoying the holiday? Are you having a nice Fourth of July?Tisha: Of course Dave, I’m here with you!
*Audience cheers*
David Letterman: I know I am the highlight of your day, but what did you do to celebrate?Tisha: Well, as you know New York City is my hometown! *Audience roars* So I have work all this week promoting the album, but I’m in my hometown so my mom is still here. So we had a cookout earlier, invited a bunch of family members and talked, ate, and laughed. Then I came here for rehearsals, and here we are!
David Letterman: It must feel good to be home after the busy year you’ve had?Tisha: Yes, it does. It feels great to be with my family and actually get to see them and not have to rush into town and out. It’s been a really hectic year. But it feels great to be back home.
David Letterman: *Points at Tisha’s tattoo across her chest* I couldn’t help but notice your tattoo. I know your into that thing. How many do you have?Tisha: I don’t even know. I think I lost count; I’m probably at nine or ten now. I may have to recount again.
David Letterman: So you have a new album in stores. Reveal, Revealing, Revealed. Quite the tongue twister. Can you tell us more about that?*Audience laughs at Dave*
Tisha: Yeah it is kind of a tongue twister. But yes! Reveal, Revealing, Revealed is the album. And it’s a re-release of my last studio album Revealed. So we basically went into the studio recorded some new music and next thing you knew we had seven tracks for the re-release.
David Letterman: And you have a special guest on the album featured on two songs, Dominic Brown. Can you tell us about him?Tisha: *Smiles innocently, and plays in her hair* Ummm, his name is Dominic Brown and he’s a singer.
*Audience laughs hysterically*
David Letterman: More. *David says nosily**Audience continues to laugh*
Tisha: *Smiles uncontrollably* He is featured on two of the songs on the album. And he toured with me earlier this year.
David Letterman: Let’s cut to the chase, are you a couple?*Audience laughter increases*
Tisha: We’re a couple of friends. Dominic is a close friend Dave. Just like us. *Tisha smiles and grabs Dave’s hand playfully*
