MATT URIE - VOCALS

Full Name: Matthew Joseph Urie
Age: 20

Matt is one of two original SS members returning back into the bands lineup. Matt is mostly known for his lead guitarist role in Suburban Sunrise from late 2010, to mid 2011 with old SS singer Nicole Woods. Since his time in the music industry he has released 2 top 10 singles 1 top 5 single, 3 top 10 albums and 1 top 3 album. Now that SS is back Matt is excited to hopefully bring the band to a whole new level. He is 21 and lives in San Diego California. He began playing guitar and singing at age 13 with neighbor and child hood best friend Nick Johnson(bass). He broke onto the music scene when he was only 18 years old and slowly rose to be one of the top musicians in the Pop-Punk/Alternative music scene. The world really became aware of this young singer/guitarist in early 2011 when Suburban Sunrise released the album "Torn, Filthy, Love" which reached number 3 on the album charts. In late 2011 Matt seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth and no one knew what happened to him. Now he's back and looking to hopefully pick up momentum and help take Suburban Sunrise back to the top!

Statement from Matt
I couldn't be happier to be back in the music industry, especially with Suburban Sunrise. The last time anyone heard from this band we were on a downward spiral to music hell. And well, I kinda just went away, well, I had to much pressure on my back and couldnt handle it so I quit and gave up. It was quite immature on my part. But! Now we're back as Suburban Sunrise and we're hopefully going to pick up momentum and get back to where we were, when we were at our peak. I'm really excited for people to hear our new stuff as well! The style has changed a little bit but is also more similar to what fans fell in love with on "Torn, Filthy, Love." Its like we're blending the old with something completely new! People should be really excited for the future!



DAN RICHARDS - GUITAR

Full Name: Danial Alexander Richards
Age: 20

The music scene first heard about this young guitarist in late 2010 when a band named "The Left Side Of The Moon" came out. The band was only around for about 4 months and released one album but Dan was still in the minds and hearts of fans and teenage girls around the world! He quickly became a big teenage heart throb. With his released none of his work has made the charts. Dan joined Suburban Sunrise when they changed their name in late 2011 to "The City Of Sin." When he was announced as the guitarist for the band a lot of the music world was shocked not knowing that Richards and Urie knew each other. Although the band never released any music fans were excited to see him back in music. Now with the return of Suburban Sunrise and Richards on guitar fans are excited once again to see his face and name back in music!

Statement from Dan
Well hey there music industry! I'm really happy to be back. Especially with a group of my best friends. We(suburban sunrise) have actually been writing new music for about the last month but kept it under wraps and wanted to keep it as a suprise. Now that we're back I think fans are going to love the style and sound of our new music. Back in 2011 when I joined the band with Matt we were working on new stuff but none of it was the right sound for any of us and we were all really distraught and discouraged with the music we were making, but this new stuff, man, it so sick! We're literally creating music that people haven't heard of. Its a blend of old SS that people are used to, before I joined the band, and magical stuff from our minds! I can't wait to release the music and get back to playing shows!



NICK JOHNSON - BASS

Full Name: Nickolas B. Johnson
Age: 23

Nick is the 2nd original member of Suburban Sunrise that is returning this time around. The music world first heard of Nick in 2010 when he was 21 years old. Nick was best known as the bassist of Suburban Sunrise in the "Torn, Filthy, Love" era but left the band after the albums tour due to family reasons and having to deal with personal issues. Now, he is back with Suburban Sunrise and hopes to draw people back into their music!

Statement from Nick
Well we're back! I'm insanely excited to let people hear our new stuff. Its really different then what we've done in the past and is probably the best music we've ever made. I haven't done anything in music since I left SS back in 2010, but I came back in The City Of Sin, which many people know, was kind of a sad attempt by us to try and do stuff that's already been done before. But now I'm back in the return of SS which is freaken awesome! I know that Matt and I are ecstatic to be making music under this band name again and make music for our fans again!



KAOLIN WALSH - DRUMS

Full Name: Kaolin George Walsh
Age: 22

The newest face of Suburban Sunrise is 22 year old Kaolin Walsh. Kaolin has never been in a major band and has only had garage band experience but is good friends with Bassist Nick Johnson who was able to get him an audition for the band. We are excited to see what this new guy has to offer! We know that whatever he does with the band will be awesome!

Hey there everyone! I know that no one knows who I am, but I'm Kaolin. I've been playing drums for about 5 years now, and have known Nick(Johnson) since fifth grade. I was asked to audition for the band two months ago and we all really got along great and just clicked. I've been in a few bands before but nothing like this! The stuff we're making is really cool and different then I think alot of the bands in the industry today. I know people will be impressed with what we put out!

Hey everyone! So we've been playing shows all over So Cal this weekend and have one more show tonight in Hollywood, and the last two shows have been absolutely amazing! The crowds have been insane! Well anyway, we found out last night that our new single "Mark My Words" has debuted at number 6 on the Download charts! Thank you so much to everyone whose bought it! It would be amazing if we can get it to number 1! Thanks for your guys' love and support!
