Organizer: Good Afternoon everyone, I’m glad you could all make it here. We’re here today to announce the upcoming plans for Studio 60 Records. So this is how it will work, Mrs. Gia Rose-Hilton will explain what will be happening with the expansion of Studio 60 and then we’ll answer questions from the reporters. So, without further delays we’ll now begin, Gia?

Gia Rose-Hilton: Thank you. Well, as you all know this has been a very huge year for Studio60 and it's artists. Our main goal here has always been to not only expand but to also better our artists in every way we can. We take pride in what we do and how we do things here, and despite the many complaints, I'll call them, to how we run things. First off, I'd like to just address some basic things about our label and the unnecessary drama that we'll be soon getting out of. I'd like to take this time to publicly apologize to whoever I may have offended with my words over the course of me being here. I do not, however, wish to be regretful in the things I said. It's all a matter of opinion in this business and we're all entitled to our own. Next, I want to just briefly address the Misery Loves Company situation that took place. I'll make it plain and simple, it was a matter of 'He said, She said' and it's over with now. There were, however, talks about them being resigned and the contracts were all printed to be presented to them when their contracts were up but we were intercepted by others and they chose to sign elsewhere. Yes, we lost a great band in MLC but as I said before we have other artists on the label who we need to attend to so we're not going to be crying over the loss of one. We here at Studio60 wish them well in their future with their new label.

Other things I'd like to talk about would be the Katie Coyle situation. The truth of the matter is we were approached by her to be signed and we took her up on the offer. We did not sign Katie until after we saw that her former boss said it was okay and we did do paperwork which I'd be more than glad to show any lawyer with the signatures of both label owners giving us the 'Okay' to sign Katie. The recent arguments over Twitter about it are really ridiculous and we're not in the wrong. She is now a signed artist here and there's nothing more to say really. We've both done some dirty work and fingers shouldn't be pointing so they won't be anymore. From now on, we'll be focusing on our label and it's growth.

The last bit of news to talk about is the recent decision to merge with our fellow label, Tric-Jam Records. Now, the label will still exist but will be combined with Studio60 to create one label with two in them. We wil still have Tric-Jam specializing in Urban acts while Studio60 will have multi-genre acts. We thought this would be a better idea to just combine the two into one, that way it seems more like a family. We have also created a new website which will be launched sometime after this press conference. We've also added a few new people to our staff and family and I'm looking forward to working with them and continuing to rise. There's also going to be another recording studio available at both locations for the artists to use. Our newest project is our mentoring program which will hopefully start by the end of this year. It's to make our artists feel equal and not feeling inferior to one another. The program will allow fairly new artists to work and gain some tips from the more experienced and veterans in the industry. They will essentially be able to learn from them first hand because we believe that the label will be much more successful if everyone is on the same page. I think I've pretty much covered everything so now questions can be asked (Smiles)

Reporter 1: Do you feel as though the label has changed for the better or is it the same?
Gia: I feel as though besides the growth, not much has changed about our label. We still have the same principles and beliefs as before. Our label is all about music, no matter what type. Some would argue we're 'too mainstream' or we only care about power and money. I can honestly say that yes, we care about all of those things but we care about our artists first. Why would I run a label and not want to make money off of it? I'm not gonna lie to you guys and say this whole nonsense over not caring, because I do care. If no one pushes these artists, there would be no label.

Reporter 2: There's been a lot of talk about you, Gia, that you've changed the company since you arrived, how do you respond to that?
Gia: I say people are right, the label has changed, again in growth size. I've signed majority of the artists on the label now and yes I have gotten rid of a lot too. I take this job seriously and I want to see Studio60 and Tric-Jam go even further. I took a label and expanded it, made it more money, gained it more respect, and made some amazing music.

Reporter 3: Going off on people saying you only care about power and money, could you explain how you as a producer and co-owner run the label?
Gia: The artists have no say on what type of music to make. They have creative freedom and control over all their songs. When I am called in to help produce a single or an album, I do what any producer would do, my job. I offer advice, I offer my own opinions but I don't tell anyone how to make their songs. As Co-Owner, I work with my team because all decisions are passed through everyone.

Reporter 4: Do you feel threatened by other labels?
Gia: In the past, yes I was but seeing our label, I'm not really. That's not to say there aren't some great labels out there that I respect but I don't necessarily feel threatened by them.

Reporter 5: Will you be doing anymore of your notorious firings?
Gia: Uhh, no. All inactive artists are going to be given the chance to work with the developmental department and even mentoring if they need it so we can get them active. There are some new signings though that will be announced during the launch of our new website (Smiles)

Reporter 6: Do you have a response to the recent interview made by Stephanie Fierce?
Gia: Nope, I've said all I needed to say about that.

Reporter 7: Do you have any response to the recent controversy that's happened to your husband's label?
Gia: Well, that's not really my record label so no.

Reporter 8: Do you plan to still take legal action over the controversy that's happened involving Studio60?
Gia: If it has to come to that then yes. We have an extraordinary legal team and we've never lost a case yet so I'm willing to bet we won't lose anytime soon.

Gia: Well, that's all for today. I want to thank you guys for coming out and we're very excited with the changes being made to our label and hope the fans will be as well. We all have to get back to work now and persevere through this crazy business. (Laughs)

Nevaeh: The fact that Tric Jam and Studio60 are merging just makes both labels all the more better. I've had the honor of knowing you on a personal level and now as a business partner as we continue to venture out on our endeavors. This is a huge opportunity for not only You, I, Studio 60, and Tric Jam but for the most part all the hopefuls looking to make an impact in this business. Look at you looking so gorgeous Gia :)
