Radioettes are a UK based Pop/R&B girlband. The group consists of Lucy Dunn, Kim Martinez and Kelly Franklin who were all childhood friends. Kim and Kelly grew up together and shared similar personality traits with each other. One major thing they had in common was a strong love for music. As they grew older, both girls regularly attended concerts together and would do anything to get involved with the music scene. When they were teenagers, Kim and Kelly met Lucy Dunn, a shy girl who shared the same passion for music as them. Lucy was the missing piece in their lives and the three girls have been best friends ever since they met. As they all loved music, it made sense to create a band together. 'Radioettes' formed way back in late 2001 and the girls regularly performed (and won) in school and community talent shows.

Their music is described as 'classy pop/R&B crossover'. The music they wrote together as teens was beyond their years as well as their stunning voices. Radioettes hope to bring a new sound to the charts and inspire others to be who they want to be. It has taken the girls the best part of 10 years to finally get to a point where they are 100% with their sound and image. They show that with hard work and dedication, you can achieve anything.

Kimberley "Kim" Gloria Martinez was born on 24th April, 1988. She was raised by both her mother and her father, up until the age of 9, when her parents divorced. Kim is the youngest of 2, Aaron Martinez (26) and Rita Martinez (29). After her parents divorced, her father moved to the United States and started another family there. Knowing that she wouldn't be seeing her father for a long time, Kim became depressed, and her mother sent her to have therapy sessions so she could have someone to talk too about it. After a while, Kimberley learned to play the piano and started writing songs as a hobby. She has an interest in reading, journalism (writing), playing cricket, and her most favourable, music.

Kimberley met Kelly at the age of 5, and in no time they became best friends. After a while, Kim and Kelly's relationship gotten to a newer level, as Kelly wouldn't keep a secret from Kim and Kim wouldn't keep a secret from Kelly as well. While still in secondary school, Kim met Lucy Dunn, and Lucy shared the same interest in music just as both Kelly and Kim had, and Kim eventually introduced Lucy to Kelly. Soon afterwards, the three girls became very close and ever since then they had been best friends. Kelly was the first who brought up that they should become a band, with Kim agreeing that they should, so did Lucy. Ever since then, they have been performing at local school talent shows and have won the majority of them surprisingly.

Kelendria "Kelly" Franklin was born on 14th July 1988. She was raised by her grandmother as her father passed away when she was only 1 year old in a car accident. Kelly's mother couldn't cope with all the grieving whilst raising 4 children so passed them over to their grandmother. Kelly is the youngest of four (and the baby of the band) and is the only girl. Her three elder brothers are; Michael (30), Kevin (28) and Saviour (25). Being the only girl among three elder male, Kelly grew up to be a bit of a tomboy. Taking part in activities such as karate, basketball and hockey, she shows that she is physically strong as well as mentally. Kelly has always been one to take the lead and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Whilst she says she isn't 'bitchy', she says 'she will take action when and where it's needed'.

At the age of 5, she met Kim Martinez who soon became her best friend. Both girls shared the same love of music and had similar interests. She claims Kim is like 'the sister she never had'. Kelly soon became acquainted with Lucy Dunn when she started her secondary education, aged 12. Lucy was in the same classes as Kim and the pair bonded, Kim then introduced her to Kelly and on that day the 3 girls became best friends for life. At the age of 14 because of their love for music the girls decided to form a band. Kelly possesses the vocal range of a soprano.

Lucy Dunn was born on 30th June 1987. She was born to to her single mother. Lucy had one older brother and a younger sister, her father left when she was 5 and her mother was pregnant with her little sister. Lucy was born in Dundrum, Dublin, Ireland but moved to Kingsbury, London, United Kingdom when she was 4 so has lost her Irish accent. Lucy was known and still is known as the shy girl. She didn't have many friends growing up. At secondary school, Lucy was in the same classes as Kim and the pair bonded, Kim then introduced her to Kelly and on that day the 3 girls became best friends for life. At the age of 14 because of their love for music the girls decided to form a band.
