 Artist: The Zone Title: The High Life Release Date 2/2/2013 Genre(s): Pop pop rock dance pop R&B Label: Kiss My Pop Producer(s): Jacob Estrada Alex Henderson George Jauregui Arianna Wiseman Writer(s): Blake Williams Chris Adams Jason Ochoa Liam Allen George Jauregui Arianna Wiseman Andrea Khan Jacob Estrada Tisha Jackson The Zone are finally releasing their debut album "The High Life" The Zone are mainly known for touring with Weekend and Isabel and having Blake Williams one of the members of the group date Dustyn Blue from Weekend Chris has also appeared on the third season of Celebrity Big Brother he came in second to Billy Khan no question that the show helped boost their popularity by a lot anyway back to the album the boy began recording around early August whilst touring with fellow boy band Weekend they continued recording whilst on the tour and after the tour ended they were recording non-stop they released their debut single "Nothing They Can Say" September 4th of 2012 the song is a fun pop song about a couple who have people talking bad about them but nothing they say matters to the two of them as long as they're with each other Blake said he and Dustyn could relate to the song the song was written by Chris Adams, Blake Williams, Jason Ochoa, Andrea Khan and debuted at number nine on both the top 20 digital and airplay charts it then moved up to number eight on both charts which they were extremely happy and proud of since the song was their debut into the music industry the boy later released their second single "Make Up" a song written by Chris Adams and Blake Williams this song was yet another pop song but with a way different meaning than their debut single which seemed much more innocent than this one this song had a few sexual innuendos in it but the song was really catchy however it wasn't quite as successful as their debut single they then released their third single from the album titled "Beautiful In Every Way" which way more innocent than their second single it has a sort of cool nice laid back sound to it and a sweeter message as well the boys sing about how beautiful a person is rather than just having sex the song was written by only Chris Adams who also has the most solos in the song getting a majority of the chorus and the first verse the song is their most successful single on the top 20 airplay so far peaking at number four which was their first top five single so far however it didn't do as well on the top 20 digital charts debuting at number nineteen and dropping even lower afterwards now they're finally releasing their debut album which they're hoping will be a big success Blake wrote:God this is just amazing it's our debut album this is definitely going to go down as something I'll never forget in a million years I had always dreamed of like releasing an album but never thought I'd be able to release a single let alone an actual album it just means so much that there are people out there who care about our music and are actually listening it's amazing to think that there are people out there supporting us and our music so much it just really brings a smile to my face like we honestly have the most amazing fans on this planet they're all so amazing I know we might not have the biggest fanbase in the world but our fans really are amazing and special to us we love all of them without them this would never have happened I'd still be like day dreaming of this without them and Weekend and Izzy have helped us a lot taking us on tour it's been so amazing touring with both of them and we've loved every moment of it it's just great going out and seeing all of the people cheering and waiting for you to perform it makes me so happy so happy Chris wrote:So this is a moment I've been waiting for for a long time and I know Jason and Liam also have we've all tried to get to this point separately and pretty much failed but now here we are finally getting to live out this moment and the fact that we get to do it together makes it even better I remember meeting Blake awhile back when we were both younger and I met Liam later on then Jason and I never though I'd be in a group with them and touring with some of the biggest music artists around ever this is such an amazing accomplishment and something I'll never forget we may have some tough moments but at the end of the day we're all best friends and I'm really happy I get the chance to share this amazing unforgettable moment with these four amazing guys Jason wrote:This feeling is just indescribable we're actually getting to release our debut album with our actual music on it and I just I'm really speechless to be honest I feel so amazingly blessed to get the opportunity to do this and with these guys we've been working so hard to get this out there and I know we may have took awhile but it's better late than never right?  Title: The Things You Do Label: Kiss My Pop Genre: Pop Length: 3:12 Writer(s): Chris Adams, George Jauregui Producers: George Jauregui "The Things You Do" is an upbeat pop song by American boy band The Zone the song was written by band member Chris Adams and songwriter/producer George Jauregui the song has this fun catchy beat to it which is complimented by the catchy lyrics and the boys' different voices Liam Allen opens up the song with his unique yet strong voice Liam despite having a very likeable and different voice doesn't get many solos however when he does he usually sounds amazing this being no exception he sings a bit lighter than we're use to but it still sounds really nice as his voice matches the music perfectly after his verse it goes to the more energetic chorus where Chris starts it off singing yet almost speaking the first part in it where he says "So tell me" the boys then begin to harmonize perfectly on the next few parts it then goes to Blake speaking yet singing the same way Chris had just done earlier as he says "Or was it because" the boys then come back in and harmonize once again Chris then brings the chorus to an end as he sings "The things you do" the guys then harmonize "Woah Woah" and the chorus comes to an end Blake then shares the second verse of the song with the usual lead vocalist of the group Chris usually it would be these two getting their own verses and Jason and Liam sharing one but it wasn't that way this time Blake sings his part with his unique voice his voice was the type that some people could easily fall in love with but some could just as easily hate Blake sang his part really well showing improvement from their debut single awhile back this time he seems more in control or something which sounds really good Chris then takes his part of the verse and sounded great he had this sort of pop rock styled voice that somehow really fit well with the guys it was no wonder he was the lead vocalist of the group he had a very strong and very likeable voice however he had it a bit toned down on this song Blake then finishes this verse and the guys go back into the chorus of the song which sounds the same as it did the first time Jason takes the bridge of the song he also had a very likeable voice and was probably the second favorite voice right after Chris even though he didn't get many solos Jason had this sort of nice laid back R&B styled voice which was really popular he sang his parts amazingly after he finished the song went back to the chorus and repeated the chorus one last time before the song came to an end Chris wrote:So I'll be the first to admit I never thought this song would make the album it was just something I started writing on the tour with Izzy out of boredom I showed it to George he liked what I had down so far and helped me finish it up the song is basically about a guy trying to flirt with a girl even brought some the really cheesy pick up lines in the song like "Are you tired? Cause you been running through my mind all day" or "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"  Title: Calling Out Label:Kiss My Pop Genres: Pop, dance Length: 3:24 Writers: Jason Ochoa Producer: Arianna Wiseman "Calling Out" is an R&B/pop song written by band member Jason Ochoa Jason wrote this song all on his own he didn't want any help from the others he had originally planned to keep this song for himself as the guys sometimes record solo music for fun but the guys heard the track and really loved it so ended up putting it on the album the song has a sort of R&B type sound to it with a mix of pop it's one of the slower ballad tracks on the album Jason is heard before any of the other guys singing in a rather soft voice sound sad in a way after that Chris officially starts the song singing the first few lyrics of the song this time it's him and Liam splitting the first verse Chris sings in a lighter tone than usual Liam then sings his part he also sang in a lighter tone than we're use to though him and Chris are known for having these powerful sort of voices they had toned it down a bit for this song keeping it slow and smooth it then went to the pre-chorus where Jason sang his R&B styled vocals matching the track perfectly as he sang his parts in the pre-chorus he still had this sort of sad and hurt sound to his voice the chorus then came in Chris got a majority of the chorus getting the first part which isn't really something we can complain about Chris has a very nice voice and it's probably more likeable than the other three and even though his parts might have fit better for Jason he sounded really good on it we then finally get to hear Blake who has a very unique and noticeable voice him and Liam stand out more as their voices are very different and unique Blake's voice sounds really good on this song and nice the boys then harmonize together which sounded great almost as if they had been singing together all their lives and they have been singing together for quite awhile even before the band was officially formed the would sometimes sing together after they finished harmonizing Jason finished the chorus it then goes back to Blake's unique voice as we approach the second verse of the song his voice still sounds very good but again this part probably would have been a better fit for Jason maybe because Jason wrote the song and this is more his style but anyway Blake still sounded really good after Blake's verse it went back to the pre-chorus and chorus which are sang the same ways it then finally goes to the bridge the sound of the song get's more intense as the guys sing with more emotion than before Chris starts this part up showing that more powerful pop rock styled voice which oddly enough fit this more R&B styled song well Jason then began to sing and sang his part with a lot of emotion you could hear it all in his voice at this point all of the hurt and emotion he feels as he sings Blake then finishes the bridge of the song up singing his parts really well and holding the last "over" for a little while then they go back to the chorus and sing it the same way they had earlier before the song comes to an end Jason wrote:Oh this song is easily my favorite song on the whole album I love it because this is the only song on the album that I wrote all by myself and I'm so happy with the way this one came out it really means a lot to me and I feel like I've got a sort of connection with this song mainly because only I wrote it anyway the song is basically about messing up with a girl or guy whichever you prefer and knowing that you've messed up really bad and knowing you probably will again but still asking for another chance because this person means so much to you and it's like your trying to change and know it'll be hard but still can't let go of the person this song was fun to record I love the way we all sound on this one vocally and I just love everything about this song to be honest Chris wrote:So when Jason wrote this song he had never had a girlfriend this is back when he was too shy to talk to anyone let alone a girl yup that's right our little flirt use to be terrified to talk to girls somehow that changed after a joining the group do not ask me how but it just did I really love this song the emotion in this song is amazing the lyrics are great and again I have no idea how Jason managed to write this since he had never been in an actual relationship but he did and that's because he's a bad writer he's a great writer and that shows in this song but because he hadn't had a girlfriend before I mean I have no idea how he was able to get this done he claims he was watching a television show and just really connected with a heartbroken character I wish I could do that I don't know how he did but he did and this amazing song came out of it I really love this song probably is a song by American boy band The Zone the song was written by one of the biggest names in music right now Tisha Jackson Tisha came to the boys with the song not long after they released their second single "Make Up" and seen how much hate the boys were getting due to the suggestive lyrics in the song it made parents angry with the boys and it made the boys angry getting all the hate they did for releasing that one song so when Tisha came to them with this one it was perfect timing as the song speaks against all of the people who had something bad to say about the boys since they released Make Up anyway back to this song the song has this really intense dance beat to it like something you'd probably hear in a club and Blake starts the song out which is actually a first for him as it's usually the other boys starting the songs out however they decided Blake had a better fit voice for the beginning of this song so he done it anyway Blake sounds almost as if he's yelling or chanting in a way as he opens the song with the intro after the intro of the song Liam takes over this time singing in a soft sort of tone as the heavy beat continues to play he follows along with it his unique voice sounded quite good on this song Liam usually sounded better on these types of fast paced dance songs more than most other types this is definitely the best Liam had sounded on the album so far after Liam finishes his verse it goes into the chorus where this time Chris is singing Chris had more of a pop rocker styled voice that didn't fit this track as well as the other guys did however he still sounded really good on his part he kept with the fast paced beat as he sang after his part of the chorus was finished all the guys began to sing in the chorus together sounding really good however Chris' voice could still be heard above the other guys' just a little after the chorus finished the boys didn't sing for a little and let the beat play out before Chris came in and took the rest of the second verse as well singing it in a softer tone the same way Liam did earlier and after awhile the guys returned to the chorus which was sung the same way it was sung the first time after the chorus it goes to the bridge which is sang by the youngest member of the group Jason Ochoa he sang his solo with more power than Liam and Chris did though they were holding back on their parts and Jason was letting most of it out which was needed on this part Jason's vocals fit very well with the song and after he finished the bridge it went back into the chorus which was sang the exact same way as the first two times except this time Chris' part plays one last time and the song then comes to an end Chris wrote:Not completely sure if I'm allowed to say this or not but this is  Title: Nothing On Me Label: Kiss My Pop Genre: Pop, pop-rock Length: 3:32 Writer: Blake Williams Producer: George Jauregui "Nothing On Me" is another song by American boy band The Zone the song was written by band member Blake Williams and produced by George Jauregui this is one of the songs Blake wrote way before he had joined the group the song speaks about a girl who is dating a guy but not because she likes the guy she's only dating him to get her ex (Blake) jealous and he knows that the song has a bit more of a pop rock feel to it so Chris' voice fits this song more than most of the others however all of the other guys sounded really good on it as well but Chris easily sounded the best of the four Jason started the song off taking the first verse his voice probably didn't match the song all too great but it still sounded alright his voice still sounded really good just not the type to fit on this track as he was more use to singing R&B or regular pop music after the first verse finished it went over to the chorus where the guys all started it off singing together singing "He doesn't got nothing on me" then Blake takes over with his unique sort of voice that surprisingly fit the song really well the guys then all samg the next part again singing "He doesn't got nothing on me" once again and Blake took the next part once again right after and after Blake finished his part of the song Chris came in finally and sang his part perfectly the song fit his voice really really well probably better than Blake's or any of the others even though they didn't sound bad on it at all this was just more of Chris' style of music after Chris finished his part the guys sang together once again sounding really great Chris takes the next verse singing it almost flawlessly he continued to sing his part sounding great until he finally finished it the chorus then came in and was sung the same way it was sung the first time Blake then begins singing the bridge he didn't have the most powerful voice of the group but he was putting as much as he can into this part after he finished it went back to the chorus one last time which was sang the same way it was the first two times before the song came to an end Blake wrote:This was one of the very few songs I wrote before the group it was about this girl yes I'm bisexual not gay I've dated girls before and I'm attracted to both guys and girls ok?  Title: Beautiful In Every Way Label: Kiss My Pop Genre: Pop, acoustic Length: 3:23 Written By: Chris Adams Released: 2nd January 2013 The Zone come to us with their third single after releasing "Nothing They Can Say" as their debut single and "Make Up" as their third the boys were supposed to release a single last month and it was supposed to be a different song but they changed their mind at last minute as they felt the song would just add more fuel to the fire that "Make Up" left before "Nothing They Can Say" has obviously been the groups most successful single so far reaching the top 10 even moving up to the top 8 on both charts their second single didn't do as well however their second single was a bit more controversial than their debut single as it was thought that the boys were singing about sex however with "Beautiful In Every Way" it's completely different the sound and meaning of the song is totally different from their last single as they sing about a girl who seems to be insecure about herself and is always looking down on herself the guys tell her how beautiful and perfect she is to them rather than just singing about make up sex this song is way more toned down than their last two songs as well the others are more of dance tracks this song is just more laid back it's played on an acoustic guitar and the guys are singing a bit more laid back than they usually do Chris Adams opens up the song taking the whole first verse as he sings it a lot softer and sweeter than he usually would he also takes most of the chorus and as he sings the chorus he doesn't sound as laid back as he did in the chorus but still somehow manages to the other guys finally get their parts in the song as they harmonize together on the "Woah"'s and harmonize the last "Beautiful in every way" part together then we finally hear another solo from one of the boys as Blake comes in with his more unique sort of voice singing in a laid back style as well which fits him better than the dance pop songs this song is probably the best Blake has sounded so far it then goes back to the chorus which is sang the same exact way as before then goes over to the bridge of the song where Jason and Liam split this one up they sing their parts differently from the other two guys not sounding as laid back and relaxed it then goes back to the chorus which is sang again the same way as before with Chris getting most and the other guys harmonizing together on the last few bits the song slows down as a bit as they sing the last "beautiful in every way" together the song is a very nice song it has a very different feel to it compared to their first two singles Chris is said to get the most parts in this song because it's more special to him as he wrote it by himself for someone who he dated and was special to him before ChrisLiamBlakeJasonAllYou're the only one that sees your flaws when

 Title: Please Don't Walk Away Label: Kiss My Pop Genre: Pop Length: 3:52 Writer: Blake Williams Producer: Arianna Wiseman "Please Don't Walk Away" is the 8th track on American boy band The Zone's debut album the song was written by band member Blake Williams the song is probably one of the sadder songs on the album it has this really sad sound to it Blake has said that this song was written for his current fiancé Dustyn Blue when they had almost broken up awhile back Jason starts the song out with that R&B styled voice that a lot of the fans really love he sings the song slowly sounding sad and hurt in a way as he sings the first verse after Jason finishes his part Blake comes in for the pre-chorus he also sounded sad in a way as he sang his part full of emotion this was the best we had heard Blake sound on the album so far even if you don't really like him much you have to admit he sounds rather good on this track after Blake finishes his part the chorus comes in with all of the guys singing in harmony through a majority of the chorus Blake then takes the last "Please don't walk away" in the chorus which brings it to an end Chris then comes in taking the second verse which was shared this time between him and Liam after Chris finishes his first part of the verse Liam takes the next part singing in that unique voice that many people have come to love Chris then takes the last part of the second verse and finishes it up with that voice that everyone knows and seems to love the pre-chorus then comes back which is sung by Blake the same way with the same emotion as last time still sounding amazing the chorus then comes in once again which is also sung the same exact after that finishes Jason then takes the bridge singing with that more powerful voice that we're use to he sounded amazing as he sang his part however on the last "please don't leave me now" he had toned it down a lot sounding as if he was begging the person not to leave him the beat had also gone from more intense to a complete stop for a little before it came back in for the final chorus which was sung the same way it was the first two times before the song had finally come to an end Blake wrote: So this is one of the songs I wrote totally on my own it was an emotional time because the person I love with every single piece of my heart was basically walking away from me and I felt like there was nothing I could do or say this song was my way of saying what I wanted to say so badly to him but couldn't because I knew it wouldn't help thank god we ended up getting back together though because he honestly is the love of my life I love you Dusty! This whole album is beyond incredible and I'm glad that you guys have finally released this album :) My favorite track is 'Give Me A Try' by the way! Brittany: I think since day 1 I've said how cute you guys are! This is a very fun album and will really have all the girls by a leash when they listen to this. Each of you have distinguishable voices which is great. My favorite tracks are Make Up and Please Don't Walk Away. Fun album boys..keep it up!
