teresa is inside the venue setting up for the show. she's fiddling with the keyboards,getting them at just the right levels. she plays a short segment of a song,and nods her approval. she heads back to the bar. the venue is empty,and still it's stuffy as hell.


"water please." she ask the bartender sweetly. he is a bald and gruff man.

"water?! " he asks surprised." you sure you are in a band,sweetie?"

teresa furrows her brow.she wasnt asleep while trent and vara were speaking about her. "yes,i've had a shit day,and i am not in the mood to be questioned! water,please!" she half yells.

the bartender shakes his head and mixes her a strawberry mnartini. "here,on the house. this'll serve you better." he quips and walks away after pushing the drink towards teresa.


teresa looks at the glass for a few seconds.she shrugs. "meh,what the hell. its not like i'll get an award upon death. "teresa campbell never took a drink,so she gets a gold star on her halo." she says to herself before sipping the fruity concoction. she shakes her head when it doesnt taste like kool aide. but she muddles through,sip after sip it gets easier. by the end of the glass,teresa is feeling pretty good.

"hey,baldy,can i have some more of these? they are fucking great." she says drunkenly..........

Trent, Gabe and Derrick walk into the venue and spot Teresa. "What the hell?" Gabe asks, laughing a bit. "She looks...kinda drunk," Trent says in disbelief. "Hey, Teresa, you ready to play?" he asks her.

"Never thought I'd see the day," Trent says, walking up onto the stage with the rest of the band to mild applause from the few people in the audience who are actually there to see them.

Gabe shredding like a champ.


Derrick counts out "1! 2! 3! 4!" and the band begin to tear into "Crucified," their first song, but the keys sound a bit off. Despite this, they continue without even acknowledging it. "Teresa's fucking smashed!" Trent yells, and the crowd cheers back faintly. He starts singing,

you are just a spear stuck in my side
you are just a sore that i can't hide
tried to cleanse and bandage all my welts
you are just a weal upon my - wait, what the fuck!?

he stops and looks to the side as the keys stop. Gabe and Derrick just keep playing, trying to not look embarassed as Trent watches Teresa walk offstage to get another drink at the bar. "Hold the fuck up," Trent starts, but Gabe can barely hear him over the guitar. "What!?" Gabe asks, and Trent just shrugs and goes over to the keyboard, banging randomly on it. The rest of the song continues without vocals, degenerating into wailing on the guitar, drums and keys as Teresa drinks at the bar. As it ends, Trent walks over to the mic stand and kicks it over, picking up the mic and swinging it into the wall, cracking it. He walks over to Derrick's drum kit and pulls the mic off his snare. "Alright, fuck this," he says into it, and Gabe begins playing a sludgy sounding, distorted riff as Derrick starts playing fast blastbeats. Trent jumps into the crowd and begins screaming the lyrics at the top of his lungs, the mic squealing with reverb,

hey, you fucks,
you fuck and then you snort
you feast and then you fuck
you blaze and then you suck

hey, you freaks,
you beat your fucking meat
you masturbate until you're sore
pound veins into nothing more

hey, you bitch
you fucking hypocrites
you eat my fucking heart

He climbs back onto the stage and throws the mic back at Derrick's kit and walks offstage. Derrick and Gabe stop playing, and derick leans down, speaking into the mic he's placed on his floor tom, "That's all, folks!" he says, and he and Gabe walk offstage after Trent.

teresa is drinking at the bar. she nudges the bartender. "hey,these guys are pretty good,huh?"

"are you kidding?! you just up and walked off during one of the the songs!" the bartender says back in amazement.

teresa waves her hand dismissively.. "those guys can suck my dick....your dick. i dont have one." she giggles maniacally.

Trent just walks by the bar and outside to the van, pissed off and muttering. Gabe and Derrick walk over to Teresa. "Er, Teresa, you might wanna lay off the booze.." Derrick says. "Good job, man, I've never seen a concert sabotaged so nicely before," Gabe says.

They take her outside to the RV, opening the door and setting her down on the couch. Gabe heads into the back section to look for Trent. A few seconds pass, and a scuffle is heard, with trent yelling "Get the fuck out!" as Gabe walks back out fast. "Uh...I think I'm gonna sleep in the equipment van tonight," he says, heading out the door. "Shit.." Derrick says.

teresa lifts her heavy head up. feeling guilty for gabe taking trent's ire and drunk enough to be be pissed off about it. teresa yells back. "hey,dont fucking yell at gabe! all gabe did was help,man." she lifts her shoulders up several times in an attempt to get off the couch,but her body says no.
