No Venues II was great, but we had to find a way to top it. At the end of the day a tour is only as good as its roster, and thus after a few meetings the theme of Unity came to be. We quickly imagined a tour full of artists from different genres all collaborating to bring great, and free music to people all around the world. Looking at the roster we were able to book for this tour I can say with confidence that we accomplished this task. No two artists on this tour are the same. From the headliners down all of these artists will be bringing something different to the world from April to June. We were lucky enough to get the biggest new name in the urban world, Isaac Lovelock, this year's electro-dance-pop sensation Pixie, and the first breakout indie-rock artist of the year, Vile Hour. Then there are the veterans. Atomic War Bride are back after having been on the first No Venues Tour. Clara Thompson and Radio Vine are both returning after a succesful run on the second No Venues Tour. Maddie Urie will be bringing her fresh emotional electronic sound to people on five continents. Shadowmachine will fill the fix for a heavy, industrial rock band while Calling Captain will provide a more laid back, pop-rock sound. Mariko Kobayashi will be showing the world her sound even if she, and everyone else isn't sure what that is yet.Also joining in on the fun, we have Magie Lena ready to show the world what she can do in the post-Electrodeath portion of her career, and Cristina Lake to bring her indie yet pop-sensible sound to No Venues fans everywhere! Thus we've created the greatest lineup of any No Venues Tour and any tour I can remember in recent history. Oh and did we mention it's free? Get your tickets and make a donation if you can. As always I'd like to thank everyone at Nomad Records, Max-Volume Magazine, and Studio60 Records for picking up the tab and paying all of our fantastic artists as well as helping us get from venue to venue and put on a show every night.
