Since the MLB season has started, I thought it was appropriate to get a baseball debate started. I think I did one last year about something. Plus I'm really bored and might as well do another random thread.

Who do you think is the greatest baseball closer in history?

Mariano Rivera, who has the most saves in baseball history but was lucky to play with the Yankees to help him get a lot of postseason saves? Might I add he had the greatest slider by a pitcher in the league's history.

Trevor Hoffman, who has the most regular-season saves in baseball history, but was terrible in the few playoff appearances he had with the Padres? Might I add he had one of the greatest change-ups ever known.

Rollie Fingers, who became the first relief pitcher to ever win an MVP (to date the only reliever to win the award who never pitched as a starter), first to 300 saves, but was unfortunate to get enough saves to be the current all-time leader because the saves stat was only introduced in 1969 and saves weren't relied on a single pitcher during his career? Might I add he had the coolest facial hair too?

Or someone else? Give us your thoughts.

I gotta give it to Mariano Rivera. That man was a machine on the mound. I may hate the Yankees, but I had the utmost respect for Rivera, definently the best closer in the history of Major League Baseball.

The season's well underway, but I have two words for you guys......

Aroldis Chapman. His fastest pitch? 105.3mph. Single fastest pitch ever thrown. I mean, come on, the guy regularly hits 104 on the gun. He's ridiculous. How do you even touch that kind of heat?
