Title:
EAT YOURSELF!

Genre: Post-Hardcore, Gazecore, Mathcore, Progressive Rock
Label: Self-Released
Tracks:
1. Eat Yourself!
2. You Killed Me, Now What?
3. Is This Life or Death?
4. A Crowbar and A Match
5. Feeding Time

Personnel:
George "Percy" Shelley - Clean Vocals, Bass Guitar, Lyrics (tracks 1, 2, 5)
Victor Croft - Death Growls/Screams, Samples, composition (all tracks)
German Hernandez - Lead Guitar, composition (all tracks)
Katherine Beaufort - Piano/Keyboard, spoken word (tracks 2, 3, and 5), vocals (track 5), lyrics (tracks 3-5)
John Byron - Rhythm Guitar, cello (track 5)
Irwin O'Brien - Drums, percussion, backing vocals (track 5)

Background:
Fresh from their new single, "Strictly Bullshit," Non Crux went straight back to their in-house studio to begin work on their first EP, an effort that caused a scare to some members. "We're recording an EP," exclaimed drummer Irwin O'Brien when he first heard the news. "I mean c'mon we've only just begun our career!" Irwin got over it, and his drumming shows. In fact, although everyone agreed they needed rest, the playing isn't forced at all. The lyrics are both honest and disturbingly funny (in a weird psychotic and schizophrenic way). What else is their to say but listen to the record!

Disclaimer - lyrics will be provided for each song in the coming days, starting with today (at some point)!

Track 1: Eat Yourself!
Length: 4:31
Genre: (no shoegaze here) Post-Hardcore, Mathcore

Lyrics:

Verse1
How can you live with it all
I've seen how you dropped the ball
And killed everything with your fat fucking hands
And you of all people are giving me demands?!

Sit back and enjoy your fucking sandwich
Do you think that you're eating a simple manwhich?
No, it's not what you thought (haha) it's you for a start
And soon your friends too, they will all be apart!

Chorus
Eat your fucking heart out!
Kick back, relax!
Eat your fucking heart out
Let's hope you have a heart attack!

Do you need ketchup with that?
Just cut your wrist and it'll all come out
Do you need some extra salt?
And I don't fucking care go get some Gestalt!

Verse2
Breakups are hard, not as hard as that food is on your cholesterol
Eat up you fat fuck! Eat that whole shit that you paid for
O what's the matter, can't get it down?
That's what happens when you end up looking like Krusty the Clown!

Sit back and enjoy your fucking sandwich
Do you think that you're eating a simple manwhich?
No, it's not what you thought (haha) it's you for a start
And soon your friends too, they will all be apart!
(They will all be apart!)

Bridge
And how do you feel
And how do you fucking feel
With that extra you hanging around?
You should feel bad you narcissistic fuck
Look around and you'll need to tuck
That thing seeping out is blinding all the children! (x2)

Outro
How can you live with it all
I've seen how you dropped the ball
And killed everything with your fat fucking hands
And you of all people are giving me demands?!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Track 2: You Killed Me, Now What?
Genre: Gazecore (our new brand of fun)
Length: 4:28

Lyrics:

Intro

Already you've taken me apart
Everything I had was burned away
All the people I truly loved
Have turned on me because of you!

Chorus
You hurt me once, you hurt me twice
That'll be the last time I try to be nice
Kill me, kill me, do it again (bitch!)
I'm back from the dead, now let us begin! (x2)

Verse1
Be warned you're gonna die
I'm just telling you the ever present truth
I'm saying you need to watch your back at night
I'll wake you up and tell you it won't be alright!

Simply put, this thing you've become
Horrid, ugly, fucking disgusting
It's really bringing us all down
How could YOU KILL ME? (Look at yourself in the mirror baby!)

Chorus
You hurt me once, you hurt me twice
That'll be the last time I try to be nice
Kill me, kill me, do it again (bitch!)
I'm back from the dead, now let us begin! (x2)

Verse2
So watch out for me, I'm coming
Little voices of death are humming to me
I am the witness of your destruction
The battle with guilt and truth, what a production!

You killed me before
It'll be the same thing over and over and over again
The only difference this time
Is that I'm bringing you with me!

Spoken Word/Bridge
Baby do you want to?
Maybe we can just, be together and make up?
Or maybe I'll kill us both, it'll be alright!!!! (x3)

Verse3
Farewell to you and our lives
We will still be hurting each other in the afterlife
All I wanted was to see you cry
Like I did the last fucking time!

Chorus
You hurt me once, you hurt me twice
That'll be the last time I try to be nice
Kill me, kill me, do it again (bitch!)
I'm back from the dead, now let us begin! (x2)

Outro
I'm dead again, now what? (Now what?) (x2)

Track 3: Is This Life or Death?
Genre: Gazecore
Length: 5:04

Lyrics:

Verse1
There she sits, alone in the darkness
Staring into oblivion and waiting for the end
Her scowl makes her methods hard to defend
For she is taking the life that she could never pretend

A boy passes by, hoping to see his friend inside
All he sees is an empty room
Except then the sound: a loud BANG BOOM!
No screams, no cries, no panic

Chorus
The bridge between life and death
Is only as short as you'd like it to be
Why don't we promise each other, we will always be
Together forever in endless harmony

The gap will close, many a time
But if we calm ourselves
We won't be wasting our minds
And we can all be living in harmony

Spoken Word/Bridge
Awaken, you are now defeated by your pity
All those people you left behind are sad and feel guilty
But is it worth destroying life, just to prove a point
Why don't we start this over, o wait we can't

You gave in to the pressure
That's exactly what they wanted and now we all pay the price
We lost our friend - you - this night
Do you regret it now?
Can you regret it now?

Verse2
Speed up time to five years from then
That boy before has found a new friend
And he has no thought of that girl from long ago
He doesn't remember her name or even her pain

However, when he sleeps, he hears the BANG
He sees that bloody trail, he sees her laying there
Alone with no one else, in sadness and despair
Into oblivion she went, with a BANG

Chorus
The bridge between life and death
Is only as short as you'd like it to be
Why don't we promise each other, we will always be
Together forever in endless harmony

The gap will close, many a time
But if we calm ourselves
We won't be wasting our minds
And we can all be living in harmony

(Melodic, Emotional Guitar Solo!)

Chorus
The bridge between life and death
Is only as short as you'd like it to be
Why don't we promise each other, we will always be
Together forever in endless harmony

The gap will close, many a time
But if we calm ourselves
We won't be wasting our minds
And we can all be living in harmony

Bridge
You can never take it back
Do you know that?
What was the point?
To get people off your case?
It only made it worse
Now people don't have to lie to your face

Track 4: A Crowbar and A Match
Genre: Gazecore
Length: 1:45

Lyrics:

Verse
I am in control of this vessel
That of which is our future
I have all of the power to
End or begin or stop the truth
From ever being heard
What will I do?

I'll bring up the flame
That burns away the wax mask
That hides the visage of our purpose
And ration the truth of it all
So that we may live in ignorance
(Ignorance is bliss isn't it?)

Bridge
First we shatter it to pieces
Then we purge it like it's needless
After we control our laughter
And then, well then it's the end
(Of it all, and nothing stops it)

Verse
I am in control of this vessel
That of which is our future
I have all of the power to
End or begin or stop the truth
From ever being heard
What will I do?

I'll bring up the flame
That burns away the wax mask
That hides the visage of our purpose
And ration the truth of it all
So that we may live in ignorance
(Ignorance is bliss isn't it?)

Outro
Survive the next few hours
And then your life is mine
(The new truth we bring
Shadows what we sublime)

Spoken Word
Feed...
Feed...
Embrace eternity
Feed...
