He is the son of Hector and Laura Merjos and the brother of Hannah Beth. Hayden’s interest in music goes all the way back to when he was 2. He liked to sing and dance with his sister for his father all the time. By the time he was 12, his dad bought him his first acoustic guitar which he learned to play by age 13. He was never one to enter into contests until he was 15 and entered some with his sister. They placed 1st or 2nd place in all of them. Hayden was a very care-free, happy child and spent most of his time with his sister. As he grew up, his silliness caused him to get into trouble at school a lot and was known to be the class clown. He loves to live life and hates worrying. When he was 17, he wanted to quit school to pursue a musical career but his sister wouldn’t allow it. He recently graduated from Riverside High School and is looking to finally pursue his musical career. He is currently a judge on the television show called 'StarFactory' which will resume in January 2013.
