Yes, of course it was scripted... They knew it was being televised, and they didn't want to land on the moon and go "Well... Here we are. What evidence do you require to prove that they went to the Moon? To go there yourself? They left a mirror there so you can shine a laser at it, and it will reflect. What, are saying they dropped that mirror there on an unmanned mission? What? In the early 70s they built a robot to carefully place that mirror? They did that and faked all of the footage for the seven manned moon landings? You honestly think Neil Armstrong's professional restraint in trying to read a pre-prepared script to be broadcast at the moment of the single greatest achievement of exploratory science is practically an admission of guilt? He even messed up the line. If it was in a studio, they could have fixed that... Or was that kept in to make it seem more realistic? Twelve men have walked on the surface of the Moon, and this is well documented by any conceivable means of documentation available to them. Two different opinions man, clearly. And that's what makes the human mind so fantastic, the fact that we can both perceive the exact same thing in completely different ways. If I'm being honest, I don't really know if they did go, I just like ruffling feathers by taking a steadfast refusal to believe it. Of course I have no evidence to base my scepticism on, at all! However, I like to keep a potentially sceptical mind when I can, it makes the world a much more debatable place. I don't believe in God for example, at all. Not a jot of it do I even begin to fathom might be real, this of course brings up copious debates in every day life, and I thrive in such environments. I suppose what I'm getting at is this; there is every probability that you, NASA, and hundreds of millions of others are correct. I mean, if it had been faked, the probability of keeping such an epic falsehood a secret for 42 years (and counting) would be pretty low. However, my mind will always be sceptical, always, and I'm not likely to change that anytime. |
