cts have broken up but thats a different story. head over to quarantines site got a new album coming out and also i have started a new label called the cerebral collection. not many acts signed so far but i'll work on that. i won't start a new solo album until probally winter time but in the meantime i am fully focused on quarantine and the new label i just started. i have been through so much shit this year and all of it is in the new quarantine album coming out called "To The Surface". it's heavy, experimental, in-your-face, and laid back album. most of all you get to hear my anger through most of the album but it has everything quarantine has always been about.

'put your demons to rest' has been officially released today! i have no touring plans as of right now for a solo tour due to touring schedule with casting thin shadows but i do promise to tour to support this album. i feel very honored to have the people i had help me with this! i hope you love this album as much as i do. also i will be releasing an e.p. called regan & raven 'escape your mind' e.p. which will have that song, and two others. more details later. go buy album now!

prophets was released today officially. i'm so proud on how this album sounds. also released a digital e.p. called 'attics in berlin'. it features well 'attics in berlin' and 'my friend heroine' and a new song which is a demo caleld 'twenty-three' which features my good friend jake comatose on. i'll be on tour with casting thin shadows starting tomorrow. going to be intense!

dreams do come true. won the icon award tonight at the imas. also won best album for quarantines for the liers, the cheaters, and the backstabbers. it's a great time to be alive indeed. felt just like the old days when casting thin shadows played tonight. we'll see how this ends up...

biography:
regan started off playing guitar at the age of 14. he learned how to play the keyboard while he was in high school. he always wanted to make music, finally he met a new friend named john smith at a smashing pumpkins concert and the two became best friends and decided to make a band. they recruited john's younger brother named marcy smith on the rythm guitar then marcy invited his girl friend at the time luna star to play keyboard and luna had a cousin who played the drums named sinca monte. the band just needed a bassist so finally they found a bassist by the name of dante holmes. the band named themselves casting thin shadows. after that they recorded a demo album named 'the cruicifiction'. it was named this due to regan being an athiest and believing that the bible and all of it's stories are lies. the band gained little attention and went on a tour opening for won't be denied, this is when regan becomes best friends with mike williams(lead singer of won't be denied). after this the band recorded a second demo album called 'tales from the wicked'. it was an album based losely on the vietnam war. after this a guy named lino who just started a new label called eventual records signed the band, from there the band went onto release 8 albums. during the time drummer sinca monte were on drugs and the band decided to kick him out, he was replaced by regans cousin alan kidd, then the band left the label to join 'negative records' after there the band recorded one album and then signed to 'midnight/mthic records' after it's run with them the band signed to regans own label he made called 'insomnia records' the band released a 12th album called 'translations' which didn't do to good as the previous albums. the band went on tour. after the tour the band decided to take a hiatus due to lack of communication and wanting to focus on other projects. regan and alan went onto form a metalcore/math-core group called quarantine. while regan isn't touring with them he is doing some solo acoustic shows. it has recently been announced that his legendary band who sold over 30 million albums will be making a final album and doing a farewell tour in august to april. regan will also be doing a mini solo show when his schedule isn't fulled up.

Regan has recently released a free 5 track EP with 2 acoustic songs from his solo album to be out next monday. Here is the tracklisting:

The EP was released earlier today with this note from Regan:

"Consider this a special treat to all of you since it will be awhile before I can ever do a tour of this solo album."

His debut solo album "Prophets" will be released next Monday on his birthday. The album is to be inspired by one of his favorite bands Depeche Mode and has acoustic songs which he describes as something similar to Alice In Chains.

the new album was released for free last monday on my birthday. sometime down the road i will sign to a label and release it in stores and tour more.

me exhausted? i think not! here is some new news about what you can hear my lovely vocals and music playing in next!:
quarantine - "for the liers, the cheaters, and the backstabbers" - out june 11th
casting thin shadows - "the golden brough" - out mid august or early september
regan futrell - solo album number 2 - out august

that's right. i will have a second solo album planned for an august release. it isn't quite done yet but it will be by then. i'm still writing some songs to go in the studio to record so hold tight.

the solo tour starts soon. can't wait! seems it will be just me and some local acts that will open up. i love listening to new bands so i'm anxious.

whoa. last night was a blackout. to much weed, and to much alcohol. i passed out and woke up in jakes apartment like right when i got there last night. just wanted to say thanks again for everyone who voted and nominated me and my bands last night at the birdies. i sounded like a complete asshole last night from what i've heard. eek. its all cool though. also fear have reunited to tour this fall with fathom and smash-up. so many amazing tours happening this year!
