why is it that with a single glance, a one year old can make you feel like a total berk for dancing and singing along to tiny tots tv, when its them that wanted the damned thing on in the first place.......

I tried giving it up once...managed to go a few months (used to drink waaaay too much and loaded it with spoonfulls of coffee and sugar and full cream milk...night shift made me do it) before succumbing once again. These days I've toned it down a fair bit. Will never give up my coffee. NEVERRRR!

Sounds like caffeine dependency. It's as much a placebo effect as it is the actual coffee. Try drinking tea or something in its place, so you at least get the hot drink effect.
