Astral Projection is awesome!

Also, my stance on MTV:

Lil Wayne Unplugged (MTV 2011)

Versus

Nirvana Unplugged (MTV 1993)

Eh....

Nah. Read over that sentence. The Stones were a pivotal band and if songs like 'Gimme Shelter' don't ring out something special inside you then...that sucks. I mean maybe 80's - Present Stones but 60's - 70's...no. You've got the Vietnam war as a big backdrop for which many musicians used to jumpstart careers and assist in protests.

One of my favorites of MTV Unplugged has to be the Bjork episode.

@distortedaudio Acoustic Rap and Acoustic Rock are two different platforms. I could see your point, but it has no value whatsoever, since the show usually has a variety of artists.

meh, I never liked them too much. Sure, they have a lot of great songs. I believe you. I just don't think they match Beach Boys, Beatles, even Floyd.

Maybe it's just me but I've never been too big of a Beatles fan. Never really gotten into them.

Lately I've gotten into ODD FUTURE WOLF GANG KILL THEM ALL. KILL PEOPLE BURN SHIT FUCK SCHOOL. Yeah...Odd...Wolf...Haley.

Oh and I've gotten into Wavves and more importantly Surfer Blood.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of The Beatles and I cannot stand the Stones.

But once again, an opposing opinion obviously makes you stupid.

Love the Beatles. I don't personally like the Stones music, but I can't deny their influence.

No Cody, having an opposing opinion does not make make anyone stupid. Dismissing The Rolling Stones as "generic pop crap" however is REALLY fucking stupid. I mean maybe when they started The Rolling Stones were marketed as Beatles clones, but they really never were. They were the rebels, it was The Beatles who were the good kids, or so the reputations went in 1964. I mean The Rolling Stones were more or less a blues-rock based band, heavily influenced by guys like Howling Wolf, Robert Johnson, Leadbelly, Sonny Boy Williamson, Blind Lemon Jefferson, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters. The Beatles were too, but that influence never really came into their sound quite so obviously, unlike The Stones or The Bluesbreakers.

Now I personally prefer The Beatles but I just don't think you can call any band generic when they pretty much influenced all rock music of the past 55 years. In fact I think doing so makes you an utter moron talking about things you have no clue about. But that's just me & I'm a rude cunt.

I LOVE her. I am addicted to Bjork, I want to adopt her, and keep her in a room, and listen to her all day.

Ah, she's cool. I used to be told that I sing a lot like her, when I used to sing. Took that as a compliment. (:

That's exactly how I feel. HUGE Beatles fan, infact, listening to Sgt Pepper as we speak. But I don't really care much for the stones, although they aren't a force to be ignored.

Of course I am, I actually love Rivotril. I start a panic attack, take one and it vanishes right away.
Why did you hate them?

They were just pretty strong compared to other meds I started on. I'm OK with them now, I take four of them a day (plus 10 other pills - I'm really dosed up) and they help a lot with my falls.
