Chasing The Sun are a Canadian electronic/post-hardcore band consisting of Lily Williams, Alex Ward, Asher Holden, Jamie Cruz and Landon Roberts.

History

The band formed in late 2010 through Lily Williams and Alex Ward. Both went to high-school together and we're in different bands, but agreed to get together for a school talent show. After winning this, they decided to start their own band together. Jamie Cruz and Kris Wallace we're brought in from Alex's old band to play Bass and Drums whilst Nathan Barker was brought in by Lily as he was a good friend of her older brothers. The band started out covering songs as they performed short tours around local clubs. In early 2011, Chasing The Sun we're offered a record deal with and unknown label but declined due to not receiving enough royalties. The past 6 months have tested them as a band, and some cracks are beginning to show, can they pull it all together or will they be yesterdays band?

Lily Williams
.. is the lead vocalist and keyboard player of the band. Williams is one of the co-founders of CTS. She dated fellow vocalist Alex Ward in there late teenage years. She is desperate to make it big with Chasing The Sun, but hasn't ruled out going solo if the opportunity arises. She is the younger sister of Californian rock band, Misery Loves Company's Ryan Williams. She is 19 years old.

Alex Ward
.. is a vocalist and provides screams for the band. He is also a co-founder of the band and denies everything to do with his previous relationship with Lily. He is known to be outspoken and speaks what he is thinking which often causes a lot of controversy. Ward's attitude is sometimes something which lets the band down as he thinks he controls and is the leader of CTS. He is 21 years old.

Asher Holden
.. is the lead guitarist of the band. He hails from a small town in Arizona and grew up best friends with with drummer Landon whom he formed the indie band Practice Makes Perfect with. He later left to join Chasing The Sun. He is 23 years old.

Jamie Cruz
.. is the bass player of the band. He is the youngest member of the band yet one of the most talented. He is half-mexican and grew up in Arizona before moving to Canada. He believes that the success to the band is media coverage and the fans. He is 18 years old.

Landon Roberts
.. is the drummer of the band. He hails from a small town in Arizona and grew up best friends with guitarist Asher whom he joined the indie band Practice Makes Perfect with. He later left to join Chasing The Sun. He is 22 years old.
