I didnt get to do much preparing like I had hoped. Again, we'll see what happens.

It is rather strange, the events leading to this.

I made myself a vow, that if the conversations get to a point anything like they were last night...it MUST be done.

I'm starting to feel guilty for posting all this stuff on here, but it helps me put it in perspective....


So the night she came back over I decided to let Shelby and her hang out and I left them alone. The next day however Shelby feel asleep exactly 5 minutes after Hana woke up.

We watched a LOT of anime. She picked them all out. First we started with one that involved a guy being in love with a girl, though the girl doesn't realize it.

Hana: "She's so freaking oblivious!"

Me: "They're always oblivious..."

Then she said she was hungry, so we went into the kitchen and attempted to bake some cheese bread-stick things. I read the instructions and ended up making us lunch.

The more anime.

After a while we were talking and this was said.

"Well I didn't spend the day with Shelby but I spent it with SHELBYS BROTHER!!!"

Finally at around 8PM, Shelby woke up. Hana repeated the above line making fun of Shelby but after several pleas from Shelby to do something else, me and Hana continued watching anime until Shelby got annoyed and started watching too.

Then somebody prank called Shelby. She asked what Shelby was doing and Shelby said "hanging out with my brother and a friend." The prank caller asked how old we were and Shelby told her. Then the prank caller asked if the 14 year old was cute and Hana yelled "I'M NOT SINGLE!" (it was on speaker)

Later after the call was ended and Shelby left to go the bathroom Hana laughed and quoted her self...paused... "In reality I am single."

Last thing, over the 9 hours we sat on the couch, I did kind of get closer to her even if it wasn't always on purpose. After going from both of us on one end of the couch to her being on one side and me in the middle she asked in a loud joking way, 'Do you have to sit closer?" So I moved over...but not very much. ;)

To be perfectly honest, she seemed ticked to see Shelby woke up and previous to that she had refused to wake her up when I offered. But honestly, I can see that just being because Shelby is extremely loud and obnoxious and we were watching anime.

Still, I think I can see how this will play out. Its going to take a very long time to build, but its going "there".

Today I got a soda at a gas station.

While holding the cap I noticed there were words inside. It was a fortune.

"A newcomer in your life is getting more important."


Yep...you got that right.

I like that song your voice is actually quite good, some bits were a bit dodgy but that was quite good!

And about this girl to be honest what I'd do is try and kiss her first. It's simple and it kind of explains everything at once and once you're done smoochin' you'll feel so much more confident because she must like you enough to kiss you, or even better she'll start talking before you do. But obviously it takes more courage to kiss someone straight off the bat than just tell them, but it's got a lot of benefits too.

If your talking to her, random outburst is definitely the best way to do it. Asking her to sit down and discuss it with you is waaay way to unromantic and kind of makes you look a bit serious, which when your a teenager isn't an attractive thing until it's mutual. If you do it spontaneously, you'll know how she replies is how she feels. If you ask to talk to her about something, if she's not interested in you she could think up all kinds of reasons why and responses and it'll only make you feel shit. If you say to her hey, I really like you, a bit more than friends and I don't think it's right to keep it in anymore. She can only say one of three things, "I feel the same.", "Let's just be friends." or "I don't really know." The last one can either mean you've basically got her or you'll never had her. Don't think just because she's saying she doesn't know that she can't decide. If she says that, she already has decided, but if she does want to with you then she's just in shock and if she doesn't want to be with you she's thinking up an excuse. So best thing to do if she doesn't know is simply leave it at that. *for a few hours/days, whatever. So best to plan your 'random' outburst somewhere you can leave, rather than it being in your house and have the awkwardness of her staying around for a few more hours with your sister.

Now I understand why you merely referred to it as "the concert" in the past. Feeling bad for you man.

So Shelby told Hana over text-messages that I like her...without my permission obviously.

I have not read the text-versation, but Shelby told me it went something like this.

"Hey my brother likes you, that thing a while back wasnt a prank"

"HAHAHAHAHA, we should get him a dirty magazine or something"

"Lol"

"...now I'm in my emo corner growing mushrooms" (an anime joke, basically saying shes freaked out)

"LOL, you fell for it again!"

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"It was a joke."

"What the fuck?"

"Well...no its not a joke. I just said that so you wouldnt freak out."

"OH MY GOD IM CONFUSED!"

"Well its not like he's in total love with you, he just likes you cause your nice and stuff"

"Oh, like a friend then. Cool, I already knew that. I thought you meant seriously like like, I'm so stupid.'


Yea....What the hell....
