Ah, so Infinite finally has some competition in the 'Best Musical Trio' category, haha. Still, I have to admit that this does look very intriguing. But, then again, so does everything Ryan Ross Hernandez does. I've always admired your willingness to experiment with different genres, so this has definitely captivated my interest.

-Eric Quillington
Kid Anything- Indie/Britpop/Shoegaze; influenced by Sigur Ros, XXYYXX, Kanye West, Blur, Oasis

(Bringing together an eclectic group of influences, Ulysses' songs are sung with carefree abandon by Nick Junk)

Kurt Ulysses - Songwriter, Guitarist, Backup Vocalist
Nick Junk - Vocals, Mojo

Infinite- Alternative/Experimental Rock; influenced by Muse, Radiohead, and The Beatles

(Known best for their experimental music and their frontman's eccentric behavior, the band disbanded after Eric Quillington's death to pursue solo careers or, in Matt Robert's case, peace of mind. Infinite released four albums over the course of their career; Blue Nebula, Midnight Skies, Insomnia, and Dancing about Architecture.)

Eric Quillington (Deceased) - Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar, Piano, Primary Lyricist
Matt Roberts - Bass
Greg Oldson - Drums, Backup Vocals, Secondary Lyricist
Amelia Florentine - Keyboards, Piano, Lyricist, Backup Vocals

"When asked 'how do you write?' I invariably answer, 'one word at a time', and this answer is invariably dismissed. But that's all it is. It sounds too simple to be true, but consider the Great Wall of China, if you will: one stone at a time, man. That's all. One stone at a time. But I've read you can see that motherfucker from space without a telescope."

RRH Explains the Purpose of M.D.A. // BLOG POST

For some reason I've always had this fantasy of 'what if'-scenarios. So probably a year ago, I had finished Let a Man Be Lost, and I had like a month off before I had to promotional stuff. I was having myself a little sex, and I was listening to Frank Sinatra in a silent way. And I was naked, and I was playing the guitar, post-coital. Mid Frank Sinatra in a silent way. I was trying to figure out how to play Sinatra's "Strangers in the Night" on guitar because I wanted to serenade this girl. I couldn't anyways because the thing with most Sinatra songs is that you need a definite arrangement to sound like the songs. I have a pretty good ear so if I hear something once or twice, I can make it out on the guitar but there isn't a single Frank Sinatra I can cover on guitar.

So I got this omnichord, which is an electronic instrument that has this touch plate you could swipe with like a guitar pick and it imitates a stringed instrument. Then I got my MacBook Pro and created this real lofty beat on GuitarBand which I just thought sounded so good. I was doing this all naked with a beautiful woman sleeping in my bed. I was toying with those two things probably until sunrise, I didn't sleep that night, and I actually ended up creating a song with just an acoustic guitar, a omnichord and GarageBand. It's a song that no one will ever hear, but gave me this idea, this breakthrough idea.

I thought, what if Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, and Jay-Z made a record together? What if Marvin Gaye, Eric Clapton, and Tupac made a record? What if soul, blues, and rap met halfway to create a record that blew people's minds? Something that was so different than everything out there. Something that people wouldn't know how to react towards. I've done so many different things in my career, I've made blues albums, I've made pop albums, rock albums. I'm glad that despite all the success I've had doing those things be it when I was with PANIC! or in my solo career, there is still a man inside me who wants to continue exploring the musical waters. With Frank and Russell, I get to do that and push music boundaries in ways never seen before.

I just wanna shock people with every song we put out. I don't give a fuck if they like it or not. I'm at a point of my career where I'm doing everything I want to do. I have the fame and fortune to have earned that right in my career. Fuck the media. Fuck the award shows. Fuck the politics. It's just all about music right now.

- Ryan.

Billie Beckett: Dont screw it up because it sounds like it could be fantastic. Also it must be great to be you. You get to play music while a beautiful girl sleeps in your bed.
