Cassie comes back out of the diary room....then she walks slowly towards the garden. She passes Jason and Kestrel, and smiles sweetly at them.
Cassie: Hi guys. Everything ok? You guys having a good day?
She then walks away and sits in the back corner, facing the fence, and lights a cigarette, puffing away slowly. |

He then gets out of the pool and goes to Cassie.

Eric Quillington, finally awake and sober, feels a pain in his genitalia as his first waking sensation. Ignoring this unpleasant feeling, he begins to wonder what exactly he was up to last night. Slowly struggling to his feet with an incredible pain in his head, it becomes apparent that he cannot remember anything from last night. After the memory of getting under Jason's bed, everything turns blank. Thus, he puts two-and-two together, and realizes he broke his 'no drinking or getting high' rule. What a pity.
Still, he hopes that his undoubtedly out-of-control behavior didn't mess up the relationship between Cassie and Jason, because helping his friend out with that messy situation was the only reason the EFQ was even here in the first place. Walking around the house, he looks for any sign of Jason, or anything that could help him remember last night. Once he sees Jason with Cassie, he does an about-face and walks upstairs to pack his bag.

And I totally ruined the surprise. Whoops. Anyways, Eric leaves the house for a short period of time, expecting to make a 'surprise' return in the next half hour or so. He plans to dress pretty snazzily for it; a tuxedo, ironed pants, the whole shebang. Time to impress. |

All of a sudden, a grappling hook flies high over the fence and catches on the edge of a rock in the garden. After two sharp security tugs, the rope goes tight, and a stealthy looking Katie Coyle climbs over the fence, landing softly in the garden. She walks over to her ex.
