Ryan Ross Hernandez and PANIC!'s frontwoman Ashley Perry, had the following to say about their upcoming tour together:
Statement from Ryan Ross Hernandez wrote:"I'm excited for this tour. As a man who doesn't get excited very often anymore, I'm really ecstatic about this tour with PANIC!. It's gonna be very interesting to see the crowd at the shows. I guess in a sense it's the first time PANIC! fans meet my fans and vice-versa. It's a comeback tour for PANIC!, and it also is for me a chapter closing/new beginning tour. That's because this may be the last full-length tour that I keep the guitar hero cape on. I think that from here on out, I'm just going to keep that cape on underneath. And it's also going to be fun playing some new songs off of Running Changes, I might play a handful of songs since I don't want to let everything out there. But it's gonna be a fun tour. It's the first time I'm going out with a new backing band, there's only two or three guys that are original members of the band. Obviously, the PANIC! factor is one that is going to attract a lot of people to come out and watch a show. I might have to get the skinny jeans and converse out of the box of mementos and join those guys for a song or two. PANIC! goes on right before me, the crowd is gonna be rowdy. Then when I go on stage they could all bawl their eyes out crying."
Statement from Ashley Perry of PANIC! wrote:"It's gonna be an awesome tour. We've been very anxious to get back on the road. So what better way than to comeback and be on a tour with Ryan, who all the fans know and love. And it also gives us an opportunity to play to a wider audience, genre-wise, since both the band and Ryan have gone in different lanes musically, but I think we have a nice group of run-in-the-middle fans that can enjoy both of us and whomever else joins us on this tour. We have this tour and following it we hop on GirlSpice's stadium tour in the states too, so it's crazy. We're excited to road test some new songs we've been working on, as well as not only expanding our fan-base, we also get a chance at reminding old fans that we're back."
