Ryan Ross Hernandez and PANIC! Announce Co-Headlining Tour

UserPostedImageUserPostedImage

For the first time since 2008, Ryan Ross Hernandez is touring with his former band PANIC!. It's the first tour post-RRH departure, that both acts venture on together. The North America tour will serve as both a comeback to for the pop-punk band PANIC!, as well as a supporting tour for Ryan Ross Hernandez's upcoming new album Running Changes. It marks PANIC!'s first tour since 2009, and Hernandez's in over sixteen months.

Ryan Ross Hernandez jump-starts the hottest music scene this fall as the headliner for the 2011 An Evening with Ryan Ross Hernandez Tour. Today (September 9th, 2011), was announced the participation of the two-time Birdie winners for Best Band, PANIC! as co-headliners for the first leg of the tour. The tour will kick off September 11th, 2011 with a 9/11 A Decade Later memorial concert in the famous Central Park, located in Manhattan, and visit 22 U.S. cities in the span of 24 shows.

Tickets for all dates will become available Thursday morning, September 15th, and prices will range from $25 for upper level seating, $59.50 for main floor, and $84.50 for lower level and GA standing room. All prices exclude additional fees set by Live Nation Entertainment and local fees. VIP packages, including a meet-and-greet with Ryan Ross Hernandez will be released at a later date. PANIC! are schedule to do meet-and-greets after every show for select fans, if time permits.

Members of PANIC!'s fan club and fans who purchase a digital download of Ryan Ross Hernandez's upcoming single off of Running Changes, will receive first privileges at each date,

Ryan Ross Hernandez and PANIC!'s frontwoman Ashley Perry, had the following to say about their upcoming tour together:

Statement from Ryan Ross Hernandez wrote:
"I'm excited for this tour. As a man who doesn't get excited very often anymore, I'm really ecstatic about this tour with PANIC!. It's gonna be very interesting to see the crowd at the shows. I guess in a sense it's the first time PANIC! fans meet my fans and vice-versa. It's a comeback tour for PANIC!, and it also is for me a chapter closing/new beginning tour. That's because this may be the last full-length tour that I keep the guitar hero cape on. I think that from here on out, I'm just going to keep that cape on underneath. And it's also going to be fun playing some new songs off of Running Changes, I might play a handful of songs since I don't want to let everything out there. But it's gonna be a fun tour. It's the first time I'm going out with a new backing band, there's only two or three guys that are original members of the band. Obviously, the PANIC! factor is one that is going to attract a lot of people to come out and watch a show. I might have to get the skinny jeans and converse out of the box of mementos and join those guys for a song or two. PANIC! goes on right before me, the crowd is gonna be rowdy. Then when I go on stage they could all bawl their eyes out crying."

Statement from Ashley Perry of PANIC! wrote:
"It's gonna be an awesome tour. We've been very anxious to get back on the road. So what better way than to comeback and be on a tour with Ryan, who all the fans know and love. And it also gives us an opportunity to play to a wider audience, genre-wise, since both the band and Ryan have gone in different lanes musically, but I think we have a nice group of run-in-the-middle fans that can enjoy both of us and whomever else joins us on this tour. We have this tour and following it we hop on GirlSpice's stadium tour in the states too, so it's crazy. We're excited to road test some new songs we've been working on, as well as not only expanding our fan-base, we also get a chance at reminding old fans that we're back."

Katie: Will surely have to get to one of these shows at least. Not got much else going on so it should be good to see you all live!

Ryan: We have two dates in Texas. If you don't go to at least one of those, we aren't friends anymore. That's cruel but that's how I am.

Ryan: See, Nadia. I can be quiet when I have to. :) It's the most anticipated tour of the year for me, and I'm the dude on it! The last show at MSG will probably be the best show because it's such a short stint tour that we'll probably be at our best the last few dates.

Then it's lucky for you Chantal, since PANIC! goes on before me. You'll be able to leave before I go on, well I'll still join them for a few songs, but you won't hear any arousing songs at least.

I was already planning on going to you girls LA date, but now I guess I'm kinda forced to if you come to one of my shows.

Ashley: We are so excited to tour with you! Hopefully we aren't too worn out from this tour, and can still put on a good show for your fans! Uh... well, Kimberly. I don't drink much but I'm sure Hunter and the rest of the guys will love to join you! :)
