I actually really like it. Know Your Enemy was a bad choice to put out first (it's pretty shallow) and a lot of people underrated the album because of it. Most of the other songs are pretty good, especially 21st Century Breakdown, East Jesus Nowhere and Peacemaker. A lot of it is a bit more punkish than, say, American Idiot, but a lot of the later songs, or the last "act" as they call it, are incredibly ballady and soppy.

Anyone else like it?
Gillians / Alternative Rock
Johnny Young / Vocals & Guitar
Sev Young / Lead Guitar
Fred Johnson / Bass
Vic Dunlop / Drums

It has 3 good songs (East Jesus Nowhere, See the Light and Horseshoes and Handgranedes), 3 unbearable songs (Restless Heart Syndrome - the worst song they ever did, Last Night on Earth and Know Your Enemy) and the rest is pretty generic to me.
It took them 5 years to re-make Warning.
I own:

Andrew Guinnard (Post-punk/acoustic)
Lucy Tankeray (Pop diva/weird)

That seems odd to me. Green Day songs are so alike that I can't understand how three of them could be good and three of them unbearable. What about Schrodinger's cat? Since they're all largely the same but apparently exist in only two states, is there a point at which a song instantly becomes unbearable or could it be both unbearable and good simultaneously?

When I first listened to it, I was like "Wait, this looks like Misery! And this one like Deadbeat Holiday!..."
I can even relate a song to a My Chemical Romance's song.

Restless Heart Syndrome and Last Night on Earth are slow ballads, not my thing. Know Your Enemy pisses me off because it's too repetitive. East Jesus Nowhere I mostly like because of the lyrics, and Horseshoes and Handgrenades because it sounds something like 70's, 80's rock for me...
I have to agree most songs on the album sound pretty much the same, but I spent about an year of my life listening to nothing but Green Day so I can see many differences on their songs :P

I take it you never saw that sketch where the guy deconstructs all popular songs (including Green Day) to Pachelbel's Canon?

Don't listen to the canon - it's one of the worst songs in the album. But it's kind of... catchy.
